This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by the Richard Klemm Dresden studio around 1900. The bowl measures 9 1/4” in diameter and 2” deep. The bowl has a frilly molded border that has a scalloped edge. Three large sprays of hand painted flowers accompanied by little buds and sprigs decorate the inside of the bowl. They are realistically painted and very colorful. The border has double gold trim. It is a charming piece you will love to display or serve with. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain dish was produced in Germany by the Carl Thieme Dresden Factory in the 1890s. The dish measures 12” square and is 1 ½ deep. The 1 1/2” border has a reticulated pattern of flowers and cartouches with sprays of hand painted flowers. The center of the dish is hand painted with a vibrantly colored bouquet. There are gilded accents and lacy gold trim. It is beautiful for display and versatile for serving guests. Condition: Excellent

These 6 porcelain tea cups and saucers were produced in Germany by Meissen around 1890. The saucers are 5 ¼” in diameter and ¾” deep. The cups are 1 ¾” high and 3 ¼” In diameter. The porcelain is molded in high relief. Intricate gilding highlights the raised designs. There are reserves with hand painted flowers of vivid colors and fine detail. Tiny insects can be found among the flowers. The handle and rims are trimmed with gold. The quality of these cups and saucers is incomparable. Condition: Excellent

These 12 cabinet plates were produced in Germany by Meissen around 1875. They have first quality under glaze crossed swords markings with pommels. The plates measure 8” in diameter and are 1” deep. They have borders with 4 different colors. Each plate has large, succulent fruits and realistic flowers hand painted in the center. Cartouches within the borders contain sprigs of blossoms. The hand painting is the finest quality with vibrant coloring. The reticulated borders are outlined in bright enamel colors and the rims are trimmed with rich gold.

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory in 1917. The date letter indicates this year. The saucer has a diameter of 6” and the cup measures 3 ¼” high (without the handle) with a diameter of 3 ¾”. The cup features an empire style handle and paw feet. There is a hand painted portrait of Frederick the Great who was king of Prussia from 1740 to 1786. The portrait is very detailed with excellent coloring. A frame of tooled, ornate gilding encircles the portrait. There are wide bands of gold trimming the rims and gold accents on the scrolled handle. This is a wonderful addition for one who appreciates items of historical significance. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Austria by Franz Dorfl between 1884 and 1902. The cup is artist signed. The shape of the set is triangular and quite unusual. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. The front of the cup has a reserve containing a hand painted scene. A classical woman is taking Cupid's bow and arrows from him. It is a spirited contest. The scene is framed with an elaborate raised gold cartouche. The gilding extends around the sides of the cup. Elements of this gilded pattern embellish the saucer. The interior of the cup is entirely gilded. The handle and rims of each piece are covered with gold. This is an extraordinary demitasse cup and saucer you would be proud to display. This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1890s. It has the first quality blue under glaze crossed swords mark. The bears measure 5 1/2" high, have a width of 3 3'4" and is 3 1/2" deep. They are modeled in fine detail and are hand painted. They look like frisky characters. This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1900. It has the first quality blue crossed swords mark under glaze and model number T175. The height of the figurine is 9 1/2" with a diameter of 4 3/8" at the base. The modeling is finely articulated. It is hand painted in excellent manner. The piece is from the art nouveau period. The subject matter exhibits charm and grace. Condition: Excellent

These 10 porcelain plates were produced in Germany by Koniglich Porzellan Manufactur, or Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer in 1902. There are date letters indicating this year. The plates measure 8 ¾ inches in diameter. They are made of fine hard paste porcelain and have reticulated borders with little ribbons at intervals around the rims. The cut out design is outlined in gold. Just inside the reticulated borders is a band of molded basket weave in relief. The centers of each plate are hand painted with realistic fruits and flowers. They almost make your mouth water. The colors are vibrant. The quality of the painting is nearly photographic. This is what KPM is best known for.

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by the Ambrosius Lamm Dresden studio in the 1880s. It is titled “Vierte Nachtstunde” or Fourth Hour of the Night after Raphael. The plate is 9 ½ inches in diameter. It is hand painted with the night goddess holding an owl while suspended on clouds. The hand painting is finely detailed and the coloring is vivid. The border is hand gilded with an elaborate design containing lyres. The plate has similarities to some done by Royal Vienna or KPM. Condition: The gold trim on the outer edge has slight wear.

This porcelain trinket box was produced in Germany by the Koniglich Porzellan Manufactur, or KPM, in the 1890s. The box is signed under the glaze with a blue scepter and a red orb over the glaze. There are hand painted numbers and a symbol. The porcelain is framed with gilt bronze ormolu. The lid is hinged to the bottom portion. It is decorated with an Art Nouveau design of swirling gilding and translucent enamel jewels in shades of peach and amber. The side panels repeat this design all the way around the box. An ivory ground presents the gilding and enamel decorations in subtle elegance. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain trembleuse chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Bohemia by Carl Knoll in the 1880s. The saucer is 5 ¼” in diameter. The cup with lid is 5 ½ “ high and 5” across the handles. The set is hand painted with Watteau scenes on the lid, the cup and the saucer. The hand gilding of fish scale design, was a laborious process. There are additional accents of rich gilding and trim. The finial on the lid is a flame and the handles are Meissen style split branch handles. The benefit of having a little reticulated gallery on the saucer was keeping the cup from sliding off the saucer on to the floor. How unique! Condition: Excellent

This porcelain coffee cup and saucer was produced in Austria by a Vienna Porcelain manufacturer in the1880s. It has an artist’s signature “Schuler” in the painting. The saucer is 6 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 ½” high with a diameter of 3¾”. The ground color is forest green. The front of the cup has a hand painted scene of a classical lady and a winged cherub. The scene is framed with ornate, raised gold. The saucer has matching gold trim. The interior of the cup is gilded 2/3 of the way down. The gilding contrasts beautifully against the deep green ground color. Condition Excellent

This set of 8 porcelain dessert plates was produced in Germany by Rosenthal around 1900. They were produced in Rosenthal’s “Dresden Works”. The plates measure 8 ½ inches in diameter. They are intricately hand gilded with raised and beaded gilding and hand painted with vividly colored roses. The design has an art nouveau style. These plates are wonderful for display or use. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1880s or earlier. The plate measures 8 inches in diameter. The border has a hand cut, 1 ½ inch reticulated border. The center has 3 cherubs, painted in puce. There are 3 reserves around the border containing sprays of flowers. The reticulation is outlined in gold and there are gilded accents. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1890 and 1910. It has first quality crossed swords markings under the glaze. The saucer measures 5 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 3/8 inches high. The set is made of the finest quality porcelain the Western world has known. The cup features a split twig handle. Tiny, colorful flowers are expertly hand painted on both pieces. There are tiny insects and butterflies scattered around them. The rims of both pieces are delicately gilded and the handle is accented with gold. Condition: Excellent

The saucer has a diameter of 5 ¾ inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set has a unique 6 sided shape. It is hand gilded. Companies such as Rosenthal and Lamm Dresden have created similar designs. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1880s. It has the first quality, underglaze crossed swords mark with pommels. The plate is made of the finest quality hard paste porcelain ever produced in the Western Hemisphere. It measures 9 ½ inches in diameter. The reticulated border is cut out by hand. The center of the plate has a hand painted scene of Galileo reading a book and inventing the geometric compass. The painting is after the artist Byieu, Dutch master. The cobalt blue border is accented with ornate gilding. The precision and detail of this painting is only matched by work done at the KPM Royal Berlin Factory. It has a photographic quality about it.
