This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Richard Klemm Dresden Studio in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cup is 3 1/4 inches high without the handle. It was probably used to serve hot chocolate. The cup features an Empire style handle. The set is hand painted with cartouches containing Watteau scenes in Meissen style. The rest of the cup and saucer is covered with fine, lacy gilding. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Austria by Ernst Wahliss around 1900. The saucer has a diameter of 6 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is quatrefoil in shape. The porcelain is highly translucent. It is decorated with delicate gilding, matte gold and shiny gold, reminiscent of Russian enamel work. The gilded ornaments contain tiny flowers in pastel colored cartouches. It is a delight to the senses to touch and see such splendid artistry. Condition: Excellent

This set of 10 porcelain bowls and 10 plates was produced in France by Jean Pouyat Limoges in 1914. Only one set is pictured, but the price includes the set of 10 matching bowls and plates. The plates measure 7 1/4 inches and the bowls are 5 inches in diameter and 2 inches high. The naturalistic design is an inspiration of the art nouveau period. A factory transfer of trumpet blossoms and vines spills across the surface of each piece. The soft pink and rose blossoms and light green leaves are all outlined in gold. The rims of the bowls have embossed gilding while the plates have embossed and beaded gold. What a delightful way to serve berries and cake or whatever your heart desires. Condition: Excellent

We believe this porcelain box was produced in France at the Sevres factory in the late 1700s. It is unmarked. The quality of the painting and the workmanship of the doré bronze rim have led us to this conclusion. The box measures 3 inches long, 2 1/4 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches deep. It is hand painted with panels of colorful exotic birds in fine detail. It is elaborately gilded. The painting is on the top of the box, the sides and the bottom. There is another magnificent scene inside the lid. The porcelain has molded cartouches you can feel when you touch it. The bronze frame and hinge are wonderfully hand crafted. It ranks with items produced by Meissen, KPM, Nymphenburg and many other renowned porcelain manufacturers in Europe. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1890. The plate measures 9 1/8 inches in diameter. The fine bone china is decorated with a Persian inspired design. The pale pink ground color is decorated with elaborate raised gilding. There are burgundy cut-outs outlined in beaded gilding and white enamel jewels. The design is dazzling. Condition: There is minor wear to gilding on the rim that does not affect the beauty for display.

The porcelain blanks are fluted and scalloped. One plate is pale blue and the other is white. They are decorated with an elaborate pattern of raised enamel beads and intricate gilding. They are an example of the splendor of porcelain in the “Gilded Age”. These plates are exhibition worthy. Condition: Excellent

The saucer has a diameter of 4 7/8 inches and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high ad the opening has a diameter of 2 1/4 inches. The set is decorated with hand painted swags and gilded ornaments in a classical style. Tiny flowers dot the porcelain of both pieces. Condition: There is minor wear to the gilded rims. There are no other defects.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Spode around 1800. It has a specious Sevres marking over the glaze. The handle is found in Berthoud’s Compendium of Cups. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/8 inches and it is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/4 inches high with an opening of 3 1/8 inches in diameter. The pattern is quite colorful with panels of hand painted flowers and panels of geometric designs. The gilding is elaborate. Condition: Excellent

The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and is 11/4 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high and the opening has a diameter of 2 1/8 inches. The set is decorated in a chinoiserie style. The simplistic landscape is dotted with pagodas and figures hunting game. The design is delightful. There is gilded trim and accents. Condition: The saucer has crazing in the glaze. There are no other defects.

The porcelain body of both pieces is fluted with scalloped edges. There are cobalt blue borders. There is hand painted decoration of red ribbons attached to garlands of fruit. The borders are accented with gilding. Condition: But for some minor wear to the gilding on the edges, this set is in excellent condition.

The saucer measures 5 1/8 inches in diameter and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high with a diameter or 2 1/2 inches at the opening. It has cobalt blue borders, cascading flowers and a turquoise diaper at the bottom of the cup and around the well of the saucer. There is fine gilded trim on both pieces. Condition: There is minor wear to gilded trim on the edges of both pieces. The body of the cup is fluted while the saucer is not. These may have been paired together. It is in otherwise excellent condition.

Bands of cobalt blue trim the borders. There are sprays of hand painted flowers scattered around both pieces. A ring of turquoise pearls ring the interior of the cup and around the well of the saucer. The set is accented with fine gilding. Condition: Excellent

The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and is 1 1/4 inches deep. The tea cup measures 2 inches high, without the handle and has a diameter of 3 3/4 inches. The coffee cup is 2 11/16 inches high, without the handle and has a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. Note the unique handle style. The set is exquisitely hand painted. They are vivid, having almost a two dimensional appearance. Anyone who knows the quality of a rose done by John Rose will recognize this superb artistry. This is a museum quality set. This set of 6 porcelain soup cups and saucers was produced in the US by Willets Belleek between 1885 and 1909. The porcelain and the decoration originated from the factory. The saucers have a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cups are 2 inches high and 5 inches across the handles. The porcelain is egg-shell thin with a molded pattern similar to ones you might find on Irish Belleek porcelain. Sweet pink roses encircle the borders inside the cup, outside the cup and around the saucer. In the very center of each saucer and at the bottom of the cups you find a kind of rose medallion. Delicate gilded accents and gold trim complete these delightful cups and saucers. They may have been designed to serve soup in but you could serve berries with whipped cream or other delicacies. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain charger was produced in France by Lazeyras, Rosenfeld & Lehmen Limoges in the 1890s. The charger was hand painted by a professional artist and is signed on the front. The back has double underglaze markings from the factory. The charger is 15 1/2 inches in diameter. It is pierced for hanging and retains wiring for hanging. The decoration is exceptional in subject and execution. There are figures of three ladies, one sitting in a sedan chair. There is so much detail and the painting is brilliantly colored. It has a rococo border painted in heavy gold. A charger of this size is difficult to find. It is a truly one-of-a-kind treasure. Condition: Excellent
