This porcelain serving dish was produced in France by Tressemann & Vogt Limoges between 1892 and 1907. The blank porcelain was sold white ware to the renowned painter Ester Miler for decoration in New York City. The artist’s signature is in the decoration. The dish measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter. It is 2 1/2 inches high with the second tier having a diameter of 4 3/4 inches. The ground color shades from light blue-green to light yellow. It is a perfect backdrop for the white and peach colored roses and foliage. The colors blend so pleasingly. Miler’s signature brush style is clearly evident in this piece. It is trimmed with heavy gilding giving the dish a rich touch. This is a lovely, versatile serving dish you will want to use often. It would also make a great gift for some special occasion. This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in France by Jean Pouyat Limoges around 1900. It was sold “white ware” to a studio artist for decoration. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches. The cup is 2 7/8 inches high with a diameter of 2 3/8 inches. The set is made of fine, translucent porcelain. The cup features an ornate handle. The hand painting is beautifully executed. The roses and foliage fill the space on both pieces, with shading and balance. The borders are accented with magenta red and rococo scrolls of pink and gold. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent, without defects of any kind.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Doulton Burslem in the late 19th century. It is artist signed by W. Slater It has a diameter of 8 3/4 inches. The plate is made of fine, white bone china. The edges are scalloped and there is a pattern of hollowed out sections around the border of the plate. It is painted in the most delicate, exquisite art nouveau style. There are broad, multi-colored leaves and Queen Anne’s lace covering the plate. The veins and edges of the leaves are accented with raised gold. The Queen Anne’s lace is painted with raised enamel. There are shadows and depth in the composition. It is a wonderful work of art on porcelain. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1855 and 1875. The marking is hand painted in gold. It measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter. The decoration on the porcelain is molded in high relief and the border is slightly scalloped. The design is inspired by the famous Meissen swan service. A pair of swans are accompanied by herons in the reeds and in flight. They are hand painted in vibrant colors. Stylized flowers, in traditional Hungarian design, decorate the border. The rim is accented with gold. Condition: There is some wear to gilding at the top of the plate. High spots in the design show slight wear. Over all, it is in very good condition and displays well.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Davenport between 1850 and 1870. The mark is impressed on the bottom of the saucer. The saucer is 4 7/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 1 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 3 inches. It is made of fine bone china. The decoration is inspired by the Asian Imari pattern. The design is hand painted with rust red, cobalt blue and abundant shiny gilding. The cup features three little ball feet. The cup is decorated inside and out. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. This is a unique set that would be an interesting addition to any collection. Condition: Excellent antique condition. There is normal wear to the bottom of the ball feet, to be expected.

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Ernst Teichert Dresden around 1884. The mark is blue under glaze. The plate has a diameter of 9 3/4 inches. There is a 1 3/4 inch reticulated border around the plate. The center has a hand painted scene of lovers in a garden. It is surrounded by a cobalt blue border. Elaborate gilding frames the painted scene. The pierced border has panels with flowers alternating with scrolled decorations. It is all outlined with gold. You can see the elaborate details and fine craftsmanship Dresden porcelains are renowned for in this beautiful plate. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain dish was produced in England around 1825. There is a hand painted pattern number 1079 on the back with no other markings. It measures 9 1/2 inches across the handles, 8 1/2 inches wide and 1 inch deep. It has molded handles and is slightly concave in the middle. The ground color is a deep cobalt blue. The hand painting is quite elaborate with floral cartouches in the corners, a wonderful basket of flowers in the center, and elaborate gilded embellishments. It is apparent that this dish came from an esteemed manufacturer. Condition: But for some minor wear to gilding in two areas on the edge, it is in excellent condition.

This crystal glass was produced in Europe in the late 19th century. It was probably made by a Bohemian firm. There is a signature but we were unable to identify the maker. The glass is 8 inches tall and the diameter of the bowl is 2 3/4 inches. It is made of hand blown crystal and the stem is hand cut. The gilded enamel decoration is extremely fine and detailed. It has winged griffins in the design. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1890 and 1910. It has first quality crossed swords markings under the glaze. The saucer measures 5 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 3/8 inches high. The set is made of the finest quality porcelain the Western world has known. The cup features a split twig handle. Tiny, colorful flowers are expertly hand painted on both pieces. There are tiny insects and butterflies scattered around them. The rims of both pieces are delicately gilded and the handle is accented with gold. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Austria in the late 19th century. It is unsigned other than some hand painted numbers. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high. The Japanese-style hand enameling is exquisitely executed. The raised enamel peonies are outlined with gold in an almost tapestry-like fashion. There are bands of gold beading and gold filigree trim just inside the rim of the cup and around the well of the saucer. The handle is distinctly European. The little crimped edges on the saucer are similar to the Haviland Limoges Ransom blank. This chocolate cup and saucer is delightful to touch and see. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal crown Derby in 1898. It has date ciphers that indicate this year. The saucer is 4 1/4 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 inches high. The set is made of delicate, translucent bone china. The decoration is extremely fine. There is intricate hand gilding with tiny raised gold dots. Garlands of brightly colored flowers are draped inside the cup, outside, and around the saucer. There is gold trim on the rims and handle. This is such a charming and delightful little demitasse of exquisite design. Condition: Excellent

This flint glass pitcher was produced in the United Stated at the Boston Sandwich glass factory in the late 19th century. It measures 5 1/2 inches high. It is cranberry opalescent hobnail with a clam broth attached handle. There is a rosette connecting the handle and a wide polished pontil on the bottom. The pitcher rings like a bell when tapped. The pitcher has a sensuous quality about it. The glass feels slick and smooth until you come to the hobnails that increase in size from top to bottom. Light coming through it makes the hobnails radiate like pools of oil. This is a rare and wonderful piece of American glass. The colors are sensational. Condition: Excellent

This set of 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers was produced in France by M. Redon Limoges between 1882 and 1896. The saucers have a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cups are 2 1/8 inches high. They are decorated with a factory transfer of bright pink roses and garlands of foliage. The handles and rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: There is barely visible wear to the gilded rims of a couple of the cups. Considering their age, it is very slight.

This porcelain 3 piece coffee cup, saucer and dessert plate was produced in England in the mid 19th century.  It is unmarked with only hand painted pattern numbers on the underside of each piece.  The plate has a diameter of 7 inches, the saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high.  The cup has a comfortable ring handle.  The set has a cobalt blue ground color.  There are gilded medallions containing hand painted pink roses.  Elaborate, hand painted decoration contrasts beautifully against the deep cobalt.  Bands of embossed gold encircle each piece.  The Victorian style and fine bone china is evidence of an excellent manufacturer such as Brownfields or Bodley.  This set will enhance the enjoyment of your favorite coffee. This porcelain serving platter was produced in France by Coiffe Limoges in the late 19th century. It measures 12 1/2 inches across the handles. The porcelain was purchased white ware to be painted by a studio artist. There is a signature on the back. The ground color has a slightly creamy hue. The flowing pink roses and foliage tumble down the middle of the platter. They are realistically hand painted in shades of pink and green. The rim and handles are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Minton in the mid 19th century. It is marked but the impressions are so light it is undecipherable. The saucer is 5 ¼ inches in diameter and the cup is 2 ½ inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The decoration is completely hand painted. The pattern of rose, pansy and forget-me-nots was very popular in Victorian times. There is hand gilded trim around the rims. The rims are turquoise colored enamel. It is an adorable cup and saucer for display or use. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain charger or platter was produced in Germany by Donath Dresden before 1920. It has a diameter of 12 1/4 inches. The charger is beautifully hand painted in the Meissen style. There is a bouquet of realistic flowers rendered in vivid colors. Lacy gilding trims the rim. Condition: Excellent. This is a splendid charger for use or decoration.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Franziska Hirsch Dresden studio in the 1890s. The saucer measures 4 1/4 inches in diameter and the cup is 1 1/2 inches high. It is similar to what is known as a 4 o’clock tea size made by the French Limoges companies. The cup has 8 ribbed panels coordinating with the scalloped panels on the saucer. All of the panels are hand painted with vibrantly colored flowers. Intricate gilded bands frame the decoration with a gilded medallion finishing off the center of the saucer. The detailed composition of this cup and saucer is a joy to behold. Condition: Excellent
