This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1930. It has first quality blue crossed swords markings under glaze. The saucer is 5 1/4 inches in diameter and 1 1/4 inches deep. The set has the traditional wavy borders with points at intervals. The cup features a split branch handle. The set is hand painted in shades of puce. The flower arrangements are executed with precision and excellent artistry. There is lacy gold trim on the rims and gilded accents on the handle. Two sets are available with different floral decorations. Condition: Excellent first quality.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1930s. It has the blue crossed sword mark under glaze which is first quality. The sauce has a diameter of 5 7/8 inches. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 7/8 inches. The porcelain is the highest quality made for centuries in the western hemisphere. It is hand painted with an Asian inspired design called “Royal Court Yellow Tiger”. It is a very colorful ornate pattern, painstakenly hand painted. The rims and handle are accented with gold. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Hungary by the Herend Factory between 1950 and 1970. The saucer is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 3/4 inches deep. The cup is 2 inches high. The set is made of fine quality porcelain. There is a basket-weave motif molded into the porcelain. The rim of the cup is scalloped. It is decorated with a form of “pink onion” design in raspberry color. The pattern is quite intricate and is accented with gold. There are little sprigs and a medallion inside the cup and sprigs on the outside of the saucer. The handle and rims of the cup are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory in 1917. The date letter indicates this year. The saucer has a diameter of 6” and the cup measures 3 ¼” high (without the handle) with a diameter of 3 ¾”. The cup features an empire style handle and paw feet. There is a hand painted portrait of Frederick the Great who was king of Prussia from 1740 to 1786. The portrait is very detailed with excellent coloring. A frame of tooled, ornate gilding encircles the portrait. There are wide bands of gold trimming the rims and gold accents on the scrolled handle. This is a wonderful addition for one who appreciates items of historical significance. Condition: Excellent

The front of the cup has a very intricate scene of a city Bautzen. There was great variety in the forms of architecture making it an interesting subject matter. It is hand painted in fine detail. There are two figures in the foreground. It is a marvelous representation of that city from a 200 year old perspective. Condition: Slight wear to gilding on saucer.

There are people standing at the edge of a cliff, over looking the Elbe River with the sandstone rock formations in the background. It is a beautiful remembrance of places and times past. There are finely hand painted sprays and sprigs of flowers scattered across each piece. The rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: It is in very good, un-restored condition. There is some light wear to painted decoration in the saucer. There is slight rubbing to the gilded trim on the rims. The foot rings are slightly rough. These are commensurate with the age of this item.

This cup and saucer was produced in Germany by an unknown manufacturer between 1815 to 1848. The set does not bear a maker’s mark. The location of this scene is written on the bottom of the cup “Ruine Trinberg bie Kissingen” translated Trinberg ruins near Kissingen. The saucer measures 5 5/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 3 1/4 inches tall with a diameter of 3 1/8 inches. The cup has a hand painted scene of castle ruins spanning a hillside. There are mountain and treed landscape in the surrounding vista. Two figures are in the foreground, viewing the scene. It is painted in fine detail, almost photographic in quality. The interior of the cup is gilded to the bottom. The saucer is richly gilded and has a gold medallion in the well. The foot of the cup and handle are gilded. This is a historical record of the past that has been well preserved. Condition: Excellent.
