This is a rare & definite a treat for the tea connoisseur of the time. The tetsubin is constructed & designed with two sand dragons crawling & piercing through the iron teapot body as if it's flouting amidst the body. Both are dotted with silver eyes. The cast iron tetsubin comes with a silver lining tip of the teapot spout & also with an attached a mini globe finial onto a nice patina bronze lid. It has a unique iron handle with dotted silver, likened "mini stars floating upon the milky way". This tetsubin has been used with light interior rust as commensurate of its age. However it has been well cared for as evidence of its excellent condition. The tetsubin is signed by the artist's mark in the lower front left.
