This is a Japanese Sterling Silver Millefleurs Teapot Circa: 1900th Century Meiji Period. It's handcrafted & hammered with multiple reliefs of millefleurs around the teapot's body & lid. The sterling silver teapot is constructed with quality sterling silver, comes with a silver lid decorated with an array of flowers & a silver chrysanthemum flower as a finial. The sterling silver teapot's body comes with an array & depth of millefleurs through out the body with silver wrap leaves as a teapot's spout & handle. It's a technical achievement in craftsmanship of Japanese sterling silver teapot with personal attention to detail & one of which a master of metallurgy can achieve, as evidence & consistence with the Meiji Period theme art. The sterling silver teapot has some missing petals on the finial. Overall it's in excellent condition for its age. The silver teapot is signed on the bottom.
