From her geometric series…… Anne Lane studied art at George Mason University in Virginia, completed her education at Saint Patrick’s college, Ireland, where she studied theology and philosophy. The tonal and contemplated intensity of her paintings reflect her 10 years spent working as an artist under the desert sun of New Mexico. Her vibrant style,resonant with color and baroque in detail,swoons its delight over her canvases. The subjects and themes of her art, reflect her fascination with people, particularly the phychology of loneliness with intimacy.
