Today we are offering from the taller of Margot de Taxco a large floral necklace and matching bracelet. This design 5488 comes in two sizes with this being the larger example at 1.25in. tall. The repousse is thick silver and both pieces have a combined weight of 115 grams. The bracelet is 7in. long and it will hook into the necklace for a long chain. The necklace is 18in. long. Both are properly hallmarked as shown. Without dents or any type of damage just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Taxco 980 signed pieces are always quality. This link is 118 grams heavy and is the closest thing to the Coco design of the Spratling original necklace which is so very, very rare. The Taxco 980 necklace is 20in. long and has a depth of 7/16th's giving it even more dimension. No dents or damage and kept lovingly through time. Los Castillo clamper design 508 is constructed of heavy repousse and weighs 79 grams. The diameter is 2.5 and will fit most. The size is a manageable 2.75 in. tall and the spring is tight. This design is an obvious Margot work of art when married to Antonio Castillo. Very well cared for with no dents or damage.

This is a very old pre 1948 Mexican silver bracelet that is in exceptional condition. The 5 stones are barrel cut amethyst with no cracks or chips. The underside shows many work marks. Plateros was the name of Sigi Pinedas first shop. He was not open long at this taller and works with this signature are rare. From this shop I have found his very best works. This Bracelet is a design most recognized by Fred Davis. Hallmarked Mexico Silver and being 7.25in. long and 1.5in. tall makes this bracelet quite a statement maker. The bezels are very well made and there are no dents or chips to the stones or silver. Even though it has an open air design it still weighs 65 grams heavy. Corpus Artisans Doris Silver was a store where extremely talented maestros worked in the back of her taller. If she liked the pieces that were made she would buy them. We have an Antonio Pineda high sheen obsidian bracelet today with a wearable of 7 inches and a height of 1.25 in. tall. A substantial bracelet with a weight of 90 grams and no chips or damage to the silver. Part of the hallmark wraps under the clasp. You will see glare and areas with patina. Signed as shown this Lotus necklace is dramatic, made of thick silver repousse and does command an audience when gazed upon. It is also Mona Lisa's favorite as you see her in it. the drop is 4.5 inches across and 4.5 inches down. For size the 4.5in down is also part of the wearable of 17 inches. No damage anywhere. We have a Mexican Silver Clamper in the Lotus design made by Gerardo Lopez who is known for fantastic repousse jewels. Properly hallmarked as shown and being 2.75 in. tall with a hefty weight. This pair of large lotus earrings are made and signed by Gerardo Lopez. His repousse is always heavy and of exceptional design elements. 1.5in. by 1.25in. screwbacks. Perfect pairing with the Lotus necklace and clamper cuff. No damage and reveals a dark natural patina.

Graziella Laffi signed on both the necklace and bracelet. The enamel is in perfect condition as well as the silver. The length is 7 inches and the necklace has a wearable length of 16.5 inches. 1.25in. for the height for both the necklace and bracelet. When I see these there seems to be some that looks very much the same but there is always a change with a fish or bird in different places and size.
