Early Mexico City open backed repousse cuff looks so fabulous without being embossed around the background of the roses because it makes the repousse really pop. This is a 1 10/16th in. wide and the diameter is 2.5in. There are no repairs, no dents and no light holes that come from poorly pressed silver. The roses are brisk and superbly dimensional. We have an obsidian stone Mask brooch that exhibits an exceptional gold sheen. The brooch is 2 in. by 1.5in. Signed RB and with eagle 3. The carving has no chips, cracks or damage. The gold sheen obsidian is getting harder to obtain today and this is a beauty. The silver work on the head dress is exemplary. It was difficult to get a picture of the sheen with my camera. The lighter color is the reflection from light casting on the sheen.
