Plateros was the name of Sigi Pinedas first shop. He was not open long at this taller and works with this signature are rare. From this shop I have found his very best works. Thick silver and always made with quality and this necklace shows all that off. The red coral branch is over 1.5in. long and has a length of 1 3/8th's in. wide. The necklace lays beautiful due to the hinged design. The diameter is 4.5in. across which is about 16.5 inch wearable. No damage of any kind, just LOOK AT THAT NECK...

Signed as shown this Lotus necklace is dramatic, made of thick silver repousse and does command an audience when gazed upon. It is also Mona Lisa's favorite as you see her in it. the drop is 4.5 inches across and 4.5 inches down. For size the 4.5in down is also part of the wearable of 17 inches. No damage anywhere. All collections need one of these. Looks great with a white button front shirt that can go anywhere you do. A go to piece, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Another Antonio Pineda masterpiece done in black onyx crescents. Very comfortable with 4.5 in. diameter which is approximately 16.5 inches of wearable length. Each crescent is 1.75 inches at the widest point. No damage or repairs. The matching Pineda bracelet is as well listed on my site. These Margot de Taxco necklaces with a large drop are getting very difficult to find. The drop has a stone 1 in. in diameter and the wearable length is a comfortable 17 in. long. The drop is 2.25 in. long and 2 in. across. No chips or cracks to the stone and no striations that come to the surface. A hefty weight of 74 grams reflect the quality of this treasure. Today we are offering from the taller of Margot de Taxco a large floral necklace and matching bracelet. This design 5488 comes in two sizes with this being the larger example at 1.25in. tall. The repousse is thick silver and both pieces have a combined weight of 115 grams. The bracelet is 7in. long and it will hook into the necklace for a long chain. The necklace is 18in. long. This is a pre-1948 Los Castillo amethyst cabachon necklace that is absolutely breathtaking. The piece is 16in. long and 7/8in. wide and weighing a hefty 84grams. Most of this design is extremely small and this is very comfortable size for most. Properly hallmarked for Los Castillo's design 817. Beautiful condition just, LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Signed by Hector Aguilar this "Mask" parure is known to be designed by Valentin Vidauretta. When you look at two links side by side they form a mask. The link is 6/8th's inch tall with the parure weighing 91 grams. The silver is thick and speaks volumes with it's sleek presence. A stunning Margot De Taxco # 5258 matching necklace and bracelet set. The necklace entails a 5 inch inside diameter, 16 inch total length, and a 120 gram weight. The bracelet has a 7 inch total length and 51 gram weight. This is super heavy and built with quality. The two pieces hook together for a rich chain. A perfect matching set for any occasion!

This is a Los Castillo design made by Hilario Lopez who worked for several Tallers through his career(of which one was Margot de Taxco) and he was an accomplished Maestro. The construction is open backed repousse but it is framed in heavy silver making a respectable 80 grams heavy. There is lots of bead work executed on this design and it is in impeccable condition.
