This necklace has an early design period made by William Spratling at the beginning of the Mexican Silver Renaissance. Also the necklace boasts a roomy 16.75 inches of wearable length. Look carefully at the full underside of the bracelet for the clear but spread apart (hard to get all in one photo) hallmarks revealing AP, an eagle 22 and sterling Mexico for Abraham Paz. This maestro made many of the pieces for Fred Davis and this is one of those designs produced for him. He added more special cut stones on the sides of this piece than the other lion bracelets. Made in Mexico Silver necklace of fine workmanship having origins from Mexico City boasting great style. The repousse is with no dents and the fine S links lead off from the lengthy drop. The length is 18 inches but you can hook into a smaller length with the original spring ring. The amethysts are without damage as well. The center piece is approximately 3 inches across and 1.5 inches tall with 67 grams of thick repousse.

We have a signed, early Fred Davis bracelet today to offer. The amethyst stones are a mix of milky swirl to a dark purple. When you look into them it appears to be a whole other world inside them. They are without chips or cracks. I could not do justice to them in my photos and there is reflection on their surfaces. This William Spratling necklace is a rare one to find. The clasp is an oversized stone measuring 1 in. and the underside of the necklace has a flat bottom. The length is 17in. long and is a fraction to 5/8th of an inch wide. The caviar balls are triple layered with the center row making a peak. This is all quality with thick silver and a total weight of 117 grams. No damage and a natural patina, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Velazquez is known for his folkwork style in Mexico City. Repousse carved tops and puffy moth links were his specialty. This amethyst center is a gorgeous glowing stone. A roomy, approximately 17in wearable and a 1 1/8 inch at it's widest point in the drop make a clean, tasteful size to wear with anything and go anywhere. Alfredo Villasana was one of the finest Maestros of the Mexican Silver Renaissance. This treasure is a hand made pectoral that is shadow boxed with a nielo underneath and leaves styled and cut out with precision running across the top. The necklace weighs 105 grams of thick silver. Made by Margot Van Voorheis this necklace proves that not all great things come in big packages. The workmanship is complicated to say the least. The entire 15in. chain is composed of the tiniest granulated beads which are then channel set throughout with each links length measuring 3/16th of an inch. This Los Castillo is one designed by Margot Van Voorhies when married to Don Antonio Castillo that unhooks and also doubles as a brooch. The matching chain and the drop is repousse and hand carved on top. The drop / brooch measures 3.75 inches tall with a width at it's widest point of 2 1/8th inches. Another Antonio Pineda masterpiece done in black onyx crescents. Very comfortable with 4.5 in. diameter which is approximately 16.5 inches of wearable length. Each crescent is 1.75 inches at the widest point. No damage or repairs. The matching Pineda bracelet is as well listed on my site. It does have a patina that has not been touched and buyer can make it their own. There is 114 grams of stunning design, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Hard to find the William Spratling wood and swirl cross in this fine condition with a Spratling chain as well. The chain is 21 inches long and has solid silver links. The drop with bale is 2 5/8 th inches long and 1 and 5/8 th inches across. It bears the old 980 hallmark and weighs 63 grams of thick silver.

A bold Matl Matilde Poulat early bracelet which is 84 grams of expert craftmanship. A you can not miss size of 2.25 in. x 2 in. center piece. 7 3/8 th inches long. The stones are red coral, Turquoise, and citrine. The birds have excellent carving and there is no damage or repairs of any kind. Simply stunning and rare.
