This necklace has an early design period made by William Spratling at the beginning of the Mexican Silver Renaissance. Also the necklace boasts a roomy 16.75 inches of wearable length. Made in Mexico Silver necklace of fine workmanship having origins from Mexico City boasting great style. The repousse is with no dents and the fine S links lead off from the lengthy drop. The length is 18 inches but you can hook into a smaller length with the original spring ring. The amethysts are without damage as well. This William Spratling necklace is a rare one to find. The clasp is an oversized stone measuring 1 in. and the underside of the necklace has a flat bottom. The length is 17in. long and is a fraction to 5/8th of an inch wide. The caviar balls are triple layered with the center row making a peak. Hard to find the William Spratling wood and swirl cross in this fine condition with a Spratling chain as well. The chain is 21 inches long and has solid silver links. This Quetzalcoatl necklace and brooch is a true sculpture. Beautifully detailed with 107 grams of heavy silver repousse. The wearable length is 18 inches long.
