Offered is a vintage sensuous round handblown Robert Burch studio glass perfume bottle. From his 'Passion' Series, this bottle features an opaque and translucent red, orange, dark green, and blue striated glass body with controlled bubbles and a clear teardrop stopper. It is approximately 4" tall, including the stopper, by 3" wide, signed and dated '96' on the base as shown, and in excellent
condition, with no chips, scuffs, or repairs noted. Robert Burch has been working in blown glass since 1971. He studied ceramics with Phil Holmes at
Goddard College and then went on to instruct in the adult degree program at Goddard. He is almost exclusively self-taught and has developed his techniques, designs, and color formulas through experimentation, practice, and teaching others. Since 1977 his works have been shown in numerous shows and more than 200 shops and galleries across the country. Inspired by his natural surroundings, Burch tries to capture the inherent beauty of the molten glass.
