Gottlob Briem 1899-1972 American This is a fine original etching and aquatint by American artist Gottlob L. Briem. This rare image is titled Empire State Building, N.Y.C. It was created and printed circa 1930. It is pencil signed and inscribed "to Elmerine (Finn) a Vermont artist with best wishes". The image measures 14X9 inches, printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

A combination of mezzotint, etching and drypoint, hand signed in pencil lower left border. This image appears in the Schneiderman catalog as image number 197. The image measures 8X11 3/4 inches. This is the V state of V.. This is a rarely seen image by Haden. Richly inked and printed.

This painting done circa 1930 is signed lower right and measures 18 1/8X15 inches. Housed in a custom French style frame. Hermine was one of the Ecole de Paris artists. In 1918 she married Jules Pascin. Their association seems to have been an influence on the artwork of both artists.
