 SOLD - Thank you!
A rather rare, very romantic Margot de Taxco creation from her "roses" period this charm bracelet has nine beautifully cast figural dangles, each one in the form of a chubby little cherub, many playing musical instruments. I guess this is an example of Margot's Renaissance Revival creations, as it brings to mind Italian jewelry made by the Peruzzi and the Coppini families - in any case, definitely an Old World inspired design. The bracelet measures 7" long (wearable) and its double woven chain is 3/16" wide. The charms are all pretty generous in size, the drop they add to the bracelet ranging between 1 13/16" and 1 5/8" while their width varies between 1" and 5/8". Weighing 49.8 grams it is fully signed as shown with Margot's name, Eagle 16 assay mark and design number 5441. In excellent vintage condition with fantastic patina and its original safety chain.
