I have a weakness for over-the-top earrings hence my lack of resistance to this pair. A set from the "archaeological period", the big dangles are formed by two mirrored Quetzalcoatls, the Feathered Serpents being entangled in a tight embrace. Nice cut-outs, easily readable hand-etched details and dimpled dot findings - spectacular! The earrings are 2 1/4" long by 1 3/4" wide (at their widest) and weigh 25.5 grams (for the set). They are simply marked "MEXICO SILVER" , date in the 1930s-40s and are in excellent vintage condition.
