A stone turtle was in an amusing look.
By simple carving lines, the turtle was vividly depicted.
Enduring through long time of age, the decorative lines were blurred.
But the overall condition was perfect.

Description:

In Chinese, he was called "Yao Shi Fo".
In the English language, Bhaisajyaguru is commonly referred to as the "Medicine Buddha" or the "Medicine King Bodhisattva".
The bronze Buddha here was heavily cast.
Depicted with decorations on the robe, he was applied with gold leaf on the surface, from which most had been faded but revealed with the darken blackish patina.
He was well carved in details on the features and at the ushnisa at the top...

Description:

A light tinted celadon cup was in unique octagonal shape.
Well crackled in the glaze, the cup was supported by the short stem foot from which the brownish body clay was revealed at the bottom.
It was probably being used as a wine cup or for tea drinking.
Whatsoever, it was a fine piece by all the characteristics with old condition.

Date: Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644.

A Junyao dish in beautiful curved rim was supported by finely shaped foot ring with wall.
Applied with attractive blue-sky glaze on the surface, the dish’s surface was decorated with one stroke of purple-red splash which by casually-rendered way.
Minute glaze-shrinking effects were yielded when finely spread crackles were incursioned by burial earth.
The buff-tinted incursions were happened to the intersection of the glaze and the body clay. too...

A Chinese iron kettle was cast in decent form.
By well arched handle in nice shape, the body of the tea pot was in drum-like shape, and was cast with motif of Buddhist Treasures on one side and with date inscription of Qianlong Xin-Yo NienZi(Made in AD1741, Qinglong reign) and with Chinese lucky words of FunTiaYuXun in a roundlet.

It was very rare to find a iron kettle from Chinese origin, and when it was in such nice shape.

A Changsha ewer pot was rarely kept with the original cap.
Being applied with yellowish glaze, the ewer was decorated on the body with characteristic brownish stripes.
Intriguingly made to imitate a fowl, two wings and a tail were squeezed to the body. They were also the characteristic form for the Changsha wares.
The glaze was transparent and in greasy look while immensely spread crackles were yielded and were accompanied with incursioned earth...

A green-glazed jarlet was mold in a trumpet form.
On the wide shoulder, a circular band of flower motifs were decorated in a fine look.
It was well preserved except some old frets were found on the rims.
Fine crackles and iridescence condition were yielded due to age.

A black-glazed Cizhou tea bowl was uniquely decorated on the surface with vertical creamy-white ribs.
By a striking image, the tea bowl was mold in a flatten shape which was elegant and was full of the mood of Zen spirits.

A Longquan jarlet was mold with two looped handles nearing to the short neck.
By retrospective celadon tint, the jarlet was yielded on the surface with enduring old crackles in the glaze.
Characteristic firing red was rendered at the body clay underneath.
Being added with a wooden plug, the ancient jarlet can be a fine tea caddy for a practical use.

A Zitan wood brushpot was nicely carved to imitate the original wood trunk.
Carved from one block of Zitan wood, the brushpot was very heavy and was meticulously rendered on the surface with the natural tree bark.
An inscription of Jing-Wei was found at the lower portion of the brushpot.
It was probably from the carver’s name.

Date:Late Qing periods, late 19th century.
