Description: A fantastic boxwood carving of a court lady was carved by famous contemporary artist Won Du-Fun in 1990s. As a registered national honoured artist, Won made numerous works of art which had been collected by the national galleries and museums. A certificate is accompanied with the fine piece. A custom-made silk box is included. Condition: The stem of the flower was once broken and had been re-stuck back. Height: 32cm. .

Description: The story of Bu-Dai monk was originated from Five Dynasties(10th centuries) when the raging wars between different countries put people's lives in jeopardy. The unfortunate miseries forced people to pursue the religious and spiritual comfort. A happy go lucky monk went to the markets and streets everyday soliciting alms for favorable karma. Dressed raggedly with a bag(Bu-Dai), he laughed all the time without any complaining and bore no grudges to anyone who had loathed him...

Description: A beautiful covered metal box was delicately chased and carved with traditional Chinese scenes like pagodas, mountain ridges and pine troves as main picture on the cover's surface. Added more with good metaphors like bats, chrysanthemums and flying magpies on the box's outer surface, this alloyed box therefore became a nice cosmetic holder for the use of a fair lady...

Description: A bronze Buddha figure of Japanese was cast with very fine quality of metal. He was molded very well with the religious mood. Meditated in calm expression and with religious hand symbol, this Buddha was once installed on a pedestal which had been lost. Two drilling holes can be seen on the bottom. Description: An interesting stamp store's seal was kept in perfect condition. With inscription of Chan Ann Zhai Inn Pu Chang-Chan Ann Zhai Stamp's Store Seal, this wood stamp which stood for the store that had produced numerous stamps for it's clients now was the only one left. Good patina and full of stories were what this old stamp attracted me. Date: Early 20th Century. Height:6.0cm

Description: An old Yixing flower arrangement basin with inscription " Sui Qing Xe Qi" (the water is pure while the rock is unique) on one side and carved flower motif on the other side had a special Chinese scholar taste. Description: An aigrette in stylized standing form was actually carved from a piece of natural root wood. In beautiful style, the aigrette twisted her neck when standing on a rock which was from another natural wood piece. As a traditional craftsmanship, this unique wood carving was in quite good size and would be an attractive display item in your house. Description: An Yixing tea caddy was kept with original cap. All were in old charming patina and in perfect condition, the Yixing caddy was finely carved with crisp inscriptions and motif of bamboo troves. That made this Yixing caddy a piece full of literati taste. By literal translation, carved two bigger words were Sane Yun(Unique Atmosphere), and ended with- Carved by Shi Yun...

Description: "Hundreds of monkeys" is only a description for the topic of this master piece. Amid the branches of a peach tree, a lot of monkeys are playing and teasing to each other. The exact numbers of these nimble animals had never been really counted. A deft open-work carving had been done in early 20th century China. Old black paint were faded due to age. An old amber bead was adorned. Width: 3.5cm

Description: An elegant Ru-Yi was rarely made of iron. Casted in a beautiful shape and preserved very well. Dark russet paint were reserved sparsely on the surface which reflected with good old black patina. Date: 19th Century Length: 34cm

Description: A camphor wood arm chair was originally made in Taiwan in the late 19th century. With beautiful design, this chair was used to be put on the main side of a living room in pairs which were called Tai-Shi-Yi, the lord's chair. In heavy weight, it was tenoned firmly and preserved very well with original warm patina. There're only some decay at the front rim side. Height: 97.5cm width: 54.5cm x 47cm
