Description:

Nuan-Shou, Hand Exercisers were used for palm massage by practicing in one hand. Rolling it to make Qi running through the nerve endings.
The pairs were made from tiger bones.
Enduring old patina was yielded when bone tissues were obviously observed.

It is really fun when practicing them in your hand and hearing the tingling sound.

Date: Qing Dynasty, late 19th century.

Measurements: 4.6cm x 4.2cm x 2.7cm, each.

A lovely Jizhou bowl was applied with rarely-seen agate-like glaze.
By the dark chocolate-brown glaze underneath, strings of bead-like mottles were decorated in the cavetto.
On the outer surface, whitish brown effects were randomly yielded.

1,The body clay was in a characteristic loosening type by the also characteristic pale buff tint.

Description:

A peach-bloom glazed water basin was in nice shape.
Well glazed in gradient tints, the basin was revealed with finely-grained body clay at the foot ring when darken firing effects was resulted within.
It was used for some time. Crackled wires were yielded inside the basin.

A Ming bronze buddha was finely cast.
In serene mood, the bronze buddha was preserved in very good condition by enduring old patina.
The old gilt had been transformed into darken metal coatings.
There're three casing holes were found within the pleats.
They were rather than defects but were used for fastening to a base.
The holes were overlooked from the frontal view.
It was a fine good piece in small size but presented in grandeur look...

Description: A bronze Karmapa Lama figure was finely cast.
Being preserved rarely with original gilding, this strikingly depicted statue was in sitting posture on a square pedestal.
Fine carving craftsmanship was well rendered in depicting the deity's facial expression in a natural way.
The bottom cover was a later restoration which was not unusual for Tibet bronze pieces.
Date: 16th Century.

Produced from Jindezheng of Jiangxi province, it was an exquisite Qingbai(bluish white) porcelain manufactured in one of the Hutien kilns. Description: A beautiful Imperial blue-ground porcelain bowl in large size was painted to the exterior with five-clawed dragon motif. In iron-red, the imperial motif of dragons were paired with Phoenix and decorated with patterns of tendrils flowers and weeds. A Yaozhou water dropper was presented in perfect condition.
The glaze condition was very good except some incursions had been happened to the rim of the venting hole and the beak-like mouth.
Amusingly found at the bottom, there were three padding clays were still adhered without being removed.
It was really rare to find an ancient porcelain ware which was solely for scholar use.
A similar piece but from Longquan site was documented...
