Description: A Zitan wood carving of a sitting figure was well rendered.
Depicted as a long robed scholar official wearing a an official hat and leaned against a stool, the figure was vividly carved in the features and on the costumes.
In perfect condition, the wood piece was reflected on the surface with enduring old patina.
Date: Qing Dynasty, late 19th century.
Height: 9.5cm. Width: 7.0cm.
