Because of its size and aesthetic appeal, the "Showgirl" is a satisfying motif to collect in its many permutations, including the wood version.

This is a fabulously decadent-looking bracelet. It is hallmarked Trifari & Pat Pend Corp on the back of one end.
This bracelet focuses on the stunning center piece, which, on this item, is comprised of open-backed and prong-set oval-shaped brilliant teal/green rhinestones in 2 sizes. These are flanked by tiny clear rounds. All the stones in the large domed center piece are faceted , and set into a shiny tessellated gold metalwork band, in which golden links are flexibly woven together resembling brickwork or a honey-combed design. Very elegant with a lot of symmetry and detail.
This bracelet is 7 1/4" long, 13/16" band width and 1 1/" stone section.
This bracelet reminds me a great deal of the bracket on page 33 of Ann Pitman book in style

"Trifari", the necklace is adjustable and has a "J" hook. I totally agree with Julia Carroll's sentiment about the "Memo" ad. In her "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202" p. 226 she writes "This advertisement features some of the most beautiful jewelry Trifari produced".

This dazzling gold-tone bracelet articulates beautifully around the wrist and will fit almost always sizes comfortably.
The snake’s rigid head and tail feature a realistic scaly finish with a fantastically tactile and dimensional texture. As you can see, this little snake sticks his forked tongue out slyly.

If any one has more information with regard to this item I would appreciate your sending to me. It is not Trifari because their is virtually no unsigned Trifari from this time frame. Trifari's adds state that jewelry they make is not authentic unless it is stamped "Trifari" with the possible exception of the early 1930s.**This information was provided by legallyblond8016, a major Trifari collector.

Hallmarks: NONE- The two buttons for signature seem to be there but I cannot read anything on them. All of the pieces that I have had have been sterling, so I am assuming that this one is also.
Sprites are derived from European folklore and are mythical creatures. This is a water sprite known to breath air and water. They have the ability to fly. Her wings, tutu, and specter are studded with clear rhinestones. Her face has an oval ruby glass stone. Her longs legs and arms are also very much Murray Slater. She is gold plated over metal usually sterling although this one is unmarked. It is 3 1/2" x 2 1/4" . Circa 1940.
