The Hollycraft Jewelry name
The Hollywood Jewelry Manufacturing Company started using the Hollycraft name in 1948, perhaps because of customer confusion between Hollywood Jewelry Manufacturing’s jewelry and jewelry produced by Joseph of Hollywood. Hanging tags with Hollycraft on one side and “Created by Hollywood Jewelry Mfg. New York” on the flip side originated during that same year.
Hollycraft costume jewelry of the 1950s
The heyday for many Hollycraft collectors is jewelry produced during the 1950s. For one thing, Hollywood Jewelry Manufacturing started marking dates on Hollycraft costume jewelry around 1950, making the jewelry easier to identify. In fact, because of the dating process, and the addition the © sign to Hollycraft costume jewelry after 1955, many collectors choose to collect Hollycraft vintage jewelry by the year.
The look of Hollycraft vintage jewelry
There are two interlocking Hollycraft jewelry signatures to look for. First, Hollycraft vintage jewelry is prized for its beautiful designs using rich, pastel-colored rhinestones. Some designs used a single color, while others used several sparkly colors.

This bracelet reminds me a great deal of the bracket on page 33 of Ann Pitman book in style
They were a short lived firm that produced high quality and highly collectible jewelry. The most collectible pieces are the Chinaman pieces and the figure pieces.
The bracelet consists of four pagoda-inspired panels. The first panel features an applied conical hat that the Asian man might be wearing. The Second panel is a faux ivory face of the Smiling / Laughing Asian man. His collar is embellished with applied flowers and rhinestones. The third panel is a dragon. Very detailed. The dragon and the hat in the first panel and the third panel have three prong set faux jade stones. The fourth panel has faux jade. Each panel has foliage, carvings and rhinestones.
It is hallmarked Har, C
Dimensions: 6 7/8" x 1 1/2" . Safety chain is missing.
This bracelet has moonglow cabochons in lavender, lemon yellow and sky blue accentuated by rhinestones sprinkled throughout.
All around the edges are the well known Selro markings in the framework of the bracelet, just like the Noh mask face bracelets and the dragon pieces. Most all Selro came with hang tags instead of a cartouche on the back.
