A German 1820's cabinet cup and saucer with burnished and matte gilt decoration of Karl Friedrich Schinkel’s new theater building in Berlin, inaugurated in 1821 and nowadays concert hall. Inscribed “Das neue Schauspielhaus in Berlin”. Height "4½/ 11 cm. Condition: rubbing to the gilt on the saucer and inside the cup (cf. pics.).

This porcelain chamber stick or candle holder was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890s. It has both impressed shield and printed marking. It measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter and is 2 inches tall. The decoration is elaborate tapestry of flowers, ribbons and gold. The hand painting is precise and extremely fine. The colors are vivid and the gilding is bright. It is a lovely reminder of the past.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Franziska Hirsch Dresden decorating studio in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/8 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. It is a bit larger than a demitasse so I believe it was made for afternoon tea. The set is hand painted with vibrantly colored flowers. Little sprigs dot the interior of the cup. There is lacy gold trim on the rims and gilded accents on the handle. Condition: Excellent

A Hand Painted Bavarian chocolate set for the Late 19th century.Consists of a Chocolate of Coffee Pot (9.5") and Six Cups (3.25". The Design Consists of Hand Painted Florals. There are a few small wear spots on the bottom edge of the cups, but otherwise it is excellent condition.

This is an exquisite Dresden porcelain tea pot, studio mark of Richard Klemm, ca. 1891-1914; of flattened ovoid shape with a ruffled foot, lovely open vine handle, and distinctive shaped rim; decorated with Deutsche blumen and overall gilding. Condition: pristine; no chips or cracks, no visible wear to gilt. Measurement: 6 _"h.

A set of six hand painted porcelain plates with floral bouquets in the well and a gold band around the edge. The mark of KPM with the initials and the scepter in underglaze blue was used from 1837 to 1844. The size would indicate that they are dessert plates, though they are deeper than most. They are 7 inches diameter (18 cm) and 1 inch (2.5 cm) deep.

Condition: excellent, no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Showing only some evidence of light use...

Two exquisitely enameled Höchst coffee cups, one with a rose and the other with a tulip. The porcelain manufacture of Höchst near Frankfurt am Main was founded in 1746, and the two coffee cups were made around 1765. Underglaze blue wheel mark to both, and brown rims. Height "2/ 5 cm, diameter "2 ¾ / 7.1-7.3 cm. Condition: fine.

A beautiful and rare, small PUCE CAMAIEU & GOLD Porcelain Teapot with Floral Bouquets, ca. 1780, Thueringen, Germany (Gotthelf Greiner). The top is adorned with a stylized Rose for holding. Height: 10.5 cm Underglaze Crossed Swords Marking. Good overall condition.

A Continental Cabinet Plate by Oscar Schlegelmilch factory in Langewiesen, Thuringia, Germany, circa 1890 (marked with a Royal Vienna style blue beehive mark) The plate decorated with a central image depicting Odysseus and Telemachos surrounded by gilt and additional color and gilt banding. Signed "K Radler". Dimension; 10.5in diameter. Excellent condition. See also 1306A (1049932).

A fayence pap boat or invalid feeder, tin glazed. With ribbed sides and rustic decoration of flowers in blue, yellow and green. Southern Germany, probably Schrezheim. Length "8 / 20 and height "2 ¾ / 7 cm. Condition: some wear to the spout (cf. pics).

A finely hand painted pair of miniature German porcelain decorative items by Carl Thieme. This pair has the blue Saxonian Porcelain Factory Dresden mark used from 1901; this group includes the 2-1/2" handled urn (red D mark) and the matching 7 x 2-3/8" tray (blue mark with painted DES.829 DEPOSE). Each features lush goldwork with colourful floral and green wreath decoration, and each is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs...

A large Dresden Porcelain Ewer by Sitzendorf (Thuringia, Germany). It is heavily decorated with puttis and weighs 4 lbs. 10 oz. and measures 15" high x 7" wide. It dates from 1887-1896. There is a slight chip on the hoof below the lip of the ewer, otherwise in excellent condition.

A Westerwald Tankard, Humpen. Decorated with a band of applied florets between raised diamond shapes. Westerwald, Germany E18thC. Height; 7″ (17.7 cm). Condition; excellent, only small chips to the scroll terminal.

German Meissen Porcelain Gravy Boat or Sauce Boat with attached tray, all one piece, 1920's, 3 1/2" high with handles, 10" wide x 7" deep with handles, hand painted floral decoration with gilded rim. Underglaze blue cross sword mark on the bottom. No damages or restoration work.

This porcelain bowl with lid was produced in Austria by Royal Vienna c. 1850. It has the cobalt blue under glaze bee hive mark. The bowl measures 6 inches high and 7 1/2 inches across the handles. The porcelain has a molded basket weave pattern. The lid has an applied handle and flowers. The bowl is expertly hand painted with vibrantly colored sprays of realistic flowers. There are buds and sprigs scattered around the porcelain...

A group of four hand painted German porcelain cups and saucers by Helena Wolfsohn c1870s-80s. Each has fine floral decoration with garlands and gold trim and highlights, both inside and out. Each has a blue ground and all have the blue Wolfsohn backstamp (crowned D over Hand painted Dresden Saxony). One has "Handgemalt" instead of handpainted, and all have the gold rose overstamp. The cups stand 2" high and the saucers are 5-7/8" across, and each saucer also is stamped with a retailer stamp...

This figurine was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg c. 1910. It has the impressed shield, printed mark and artist’s initials W N for Entwurf Wilhelm Newhauser. They are pictured in the book “Die Tierplastik her Nyympherburger Porzellan" by Gerhard P. Woeckel. The group measures 12 inches high, 8 3/4 inches deep and 7 inches wide. The birds are well modeled with just a hint of color for their faces and to give definition to feathers. It is true to form, made in the Art Nouveau era...
