Sterling silver fried oyster serving spoon by Tiffany & Co in the 1872 Vine pattern. The handle is decorated with grapes leaves and vines. Marked "Tiffany & Co" and "Sterling", it measures 9.5" long and weighs 113 grams.

A pair of good opaque opaline vases lavishly decorated with bouquets and sprigs of hand painted flowers as well as gilt rings at the top and around the foot. The bases with slightly hollow ground pontils. The style is typical of the French from the middle of the 19th century. Height 11 ¾ inches (30 cm).

Condition: no damage to the glass, some wear to the gilding around the top, especially on one.

An English Victorian Syrup or Milk Jug with a Pewter Lid and a Molded Floral Pattern on Base; with a Registry Number for 1861. Dimensions; 6.5" high x 5" across. Excellent condition.

Three child’s plates with moulded double daisy borders, transfer printed in black, Victorian, 1840’s. Impressed anchor mark and London, probably made by John Carr in Northumberland for a London retailer (cf. discussions on the internet about potteries using this mark in the early Victorian era). One plate with a lady and a little girl in a trellised garden, the other two plates with scenes from a series called Juvenile Companions. Diameter "8 ¼ / 21 cm. Condition: fine.

Turn-of-the-century Chinese export silver picture frame. Oval window in shaped surround with scrolls and flower heads at top, and leaves, stars, flowers, and heart cartouche vacant on stippled ground at bottom. With glass, silk lining, velvet back, and hinged easel silver wire support. Marked “Sterling”. Very good condition with deep patina.

An extraordinary blue and white Chinese export porcelain beaker-form jardinière raised on feet. The quality of the painted decoration makes this one of the finest examples of 19th century Canton we’ve seen. The entire pot is heavily decorated in a naturalistic array of peonies, cherry blossoms and chrysanthemums. The upper border has a beautiful scalloped pattern while the lip is decorated in a traditional Greek key-type design...

Lovely sterling silver berry spoon in Towle's 1894 "Princess" pattern. The handle is heavily decorated with various floral motifs. The matte-gilt bowl is decorated with floral bright-cut engraving. The reverse is marked with Towle's old hallmark and the design patent date.

This porcelain pitcher was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1887. It is model number 1185 and has the date letter indicating the year. The pitcher measures 6 inches high and has a diameter of about 5 1/4 inches. The ground color of the porcelain is ivory. The porcelain is molded with a handle shaped like bamboo. There are leaves molded in high relief scattered around the pitcher. It is painted with birds in flight and trailing flowers and foliage...

Victorian Classical coin silver baby cup, ca 1860. Baluster bowl with cast leaf-capped double-scroll handle and raised foot. Chased leaf and tendrils forming frame (vacant). Beaded and Greek key rims. Unidentified marks associated with Philadelphia and phrase “Pure Coin”. Very good condition with deep patina.

Excellent Staffordshire children's cup illustrating the letter "H". The blue transfer decoration shows the letter amidst scenery filled with "H" words--horse, house, hound and horn. The cup has very nice color and a thick bluish glaze typical of Staffordshire pottery.

Origin: England, circa 1850. Condition: very good, a tiny (1/8") flake at the top rim. Size: app. 3" diam., 3-1/8" high.

This porcelain plate was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1855 and 1875. The marking is hand painted in gold. It measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter. The decoration on the porcelain is molded in high relief and the border is slightly scalloped. The design is inspired by the famous Meissen swan service. A pair of swans are accompanied by herons in the reeds and in flight. They are hand painted in vibrant colors. Stylized flowers, in traditional Hungarian design, decorate the border...

our early C1790 Georgian 18K seven stone diamond half hoop ring has seven table-cut diamonds (flat on top, faceted sides). The ring is closed back and the diamonds are foiled backed, exactly the way gemstone rings were made in the Georgian period. The diamonds are mounted in silver and set in gold, as the Georgians believed silver was better suited to set off the cool white tones of diamonds. This ring would make a lovely engagement ring or gift to oneself. The ring is a size 7.

This porcelain platter was produced in Germany by the Helena Wolfsohn Dresden studio in the 1880s. It is unusual to find an under glaze mark indicating this to be an earlier piece. It measures 14 1/2” long, 11” wide and 1 1/4” deep. The border is deep, cobalt blue. The center has a scene of people boarding sailing vessels. The coloring suggests that it evening. It is hand painted with similarities to some pieces done at Meissen...

A large pair of European 19thC porcelain figural centerpiece swan bowls. Made as dining room table decorations with an open center for flowers, fruit, etc., these large and beautifully detailed swans are possible German in origin (both are unmarked). They measure 12-1/2" long and they stand 10" high; they are finely detailed and are in a simple white glaze. They weigh approximately 4 pounds / a bit under 2 kilograms each...

Standing on three ball feet, a lavishly worked iron box in egg shape. Damascene work in yellow gold and silver with an inscription between trellis of arabesques and acanthus. Condition: one feet a bit loose, unpolished, the interior of the lid with a dent therefore not perfectly closing. Dimension: 10.6 cm high, diameter 8.2 cm, weight: 282 g.

A vintage child's pair of kid leather and suede shoes with wooden buttons c1900. These high-side shoes are still soft and supple with only surface creases on the (slightly soiled) leather. The buttons are painted, and the suede soles have a branded 0 on the bottom. They are stamped 0 D660 on the interior, they are 4-3/8" long and 3" high, and they are in excellent condition with no losses, damage or repairs...
