This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Franziska Hirsch Dresden studio in the 1890s. The saucer measures 4 1/4 inches in diameter and the cup is 1 1/2 inches high. It is similar to what is known as a 4 o’clock tea size made by the French Limoges companies. The cup has 8 ribbed panels coordinating with the scalloped panels on the saucer. An American Brilliant Period (1876-1916) Cut Crystal and Sterling Rim Center Bowl. the Bowl is Hallmarked by The Stone Sterling Silver Company, New York (1896-1903). Dimensions; 10.25" diameter x 5" high. Very minor dings in the silver rim (barely noticeable) but other wise in excellent condition. No problems in the glass.

A red and white overlay and marbled glass vase by Loetz, Bohemia. From the Carneol series, of square shape and decorated with a lace-like pattern in white enamel and gilt. Carneol glass was produced in 1888 and 1889. Height "4 / 10.5 cm. Condition: fine.

A superb and early Dr. Wall Worcester sauce boat, of cos lettuce leaf form. This uncommon example is leaf molded, has a looped stem handle, and is decorated inside and out with scattered flower sprigs and insects, finished with raised fruit near the handle juncture. An early type of Scandinavian cuphrite brass metal pan for open fire with three legs and a closed handle. Later crude owners initials from time of use are dating to c. 1800. This particular alloy and type was made c. 1750-1780.

An extremely rare matching pair of large pewter wine jugs, Germany, Marburg, dated 1740.

Fantastic execution and made for a very wealthy client in c. 1740, which is engraved on the lid beneath the name of the commisioneer - JOHANNES HAAS. The jugs are stamped with a Marburg 'Feinzinnmarke' - a pewter touch mark from the city in Germany. The master given is Johann H Werlin, a meister working out of Marburg.

A faïence vase by Cantagalli with silverluster and blue decoration in the Hispano-Moresque or Ottoman style, c 1880-90. Ulysse Cantagalli, Florence, drew his inspiration from Arts and Crafts designers like William de Morgan, from Italian Renaissance and Islamic ceramics. Marked with the singing cockerel of the Cantagalli factory. Height "4 ¾ / 13 cm. Condition: mouth rim with two minimal glaze flakes, and a glaze burst near the foot rim (cf. pics).

An English Staffordshire bowl and a bread or cake plate, part of an early 19th century tea set. Decoration in blue, beige and gilt of flower garlands and ribbons. Diameter of bowl "6 ¼ /16 cm, of plate "8 ½/ 22 cm, height of bowl "3 ¼/ 8 cm. Condition: some exterior glaze cracks to the lower part of bowl.

Nice sterling silver sugar spoon in Whiting's classic 1880 "Bead" pattern. Whiting's designs are valued because of the small details such as the scalloped edges of the bowl. The reverse is marked with Whiting's old hallmark.

Twelve eight pointed stars made of cotton printed in orange with small yellow clover-like shapes arranged in rows of twos and threes with alternating white squares all enclosed in three bands of the same printed fabric. The outside band is turned over the edge to join the white cotton backing. Cotton seeds visible in the stuffing. All hand stitched. A fine antique baluster drinking glass of the type often referred to known as being "Kit-cat" glass. The form is a drawn trumpet bowl with a medial inverted baluster knop in the plain stem. The foot is folded with a rough, snapped pontil.

The height of the glass is 6 5/8", with a bowl diameter of 2 5/8" and a foot diameter of 2 7/8". The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, haze, or restoration.

Unusual 15K gold memorial ring depicting an urn in hair paint, surrounded by alternating rose diamonds and amethysts. The enameled band reads "John Jenkins died 20 Feb 1780". The back of the ring is engraved "In loving one sincerely there is great merit".

A Chelsea ecuelle and cover, fulsomely painted with fancy and aquatic birds. Applied flowers and leaves decorate the bases of the twig handles, while the uncommon (but original) knop on the lid is a beautiful flower painted in three colors.
