An exceptionally attractive transferware bowl in the Milanese Pavilion pattern having fruit and floral images around the rim while two elegantly attired ladies converse on the pavilion. The back stamp bears the J H & Co mark of Joshua Heath & Co and dates to c. 1840
While the bowl is visually magnificent, it has a 2 3/4" hairline crack for which we have drastically reduced the price and for which we would consider reasonable offers.

Origin: England, circa 1850. Condition: one plate has a crow's foot visible only from the back; the other has a 1/2" flake on the back of the rim; both have some staining, particularly along the rims. Size: 10" diam.

A very nicely painted Pratt Ware cottage decorated with a blue tiled roof, children at the windows with an oversize female standing beside it. On one end of the cottage is a woman with a cornucopia (?) and on the other a flowering tree. At the back in the roof is a slot for large pennies. The colors are well applied. Similar cottages are illustrated in John and Griselda Lewis Pratt Ware, 2006 edition page 249...

Circa 1830, historical dark blue Staffordshire teapot with a different scene on each side. One side shows 3 men chopping down a tree with a house in the background. The opposing side depicts a train engine pulling a coach. This teapot was produced by Enoch Wood & Sons (1818 - 1846) of Staffordshire. The deep blue color is remarkable as well as its excellent condition. Measures 10.5ʺ wide, 5ʺ deep, 7ʺ high.

Measuring 2.75 inches high x 2.75 inches in diameter, this very sweet, child's, Copper Lustre mug or cup was produced in 19th century England.

An extremely fine example of a saltglaze plate with a scalloped rim and a molded, or embossed, border.
The diameter is 9 1/4" and the condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, or restoration. There are 3 very minor small brown spots on the front due to kiln impurities. It is very unusual to find them in this condition...

Yellow Shell, part tea service: a slop bowl and a dish, three cups and two saucers. These wonderful painted (some outlining is printed) plaques were done in the Staffordshire area of England in the late 18th century. They are 6 1/2" long and 4 1/2" wide. Each depicts a classical head in profile. It is uncommon to find a pair, especially in such wonderful condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs of any kind, and the painting is vibrant and unscratched.
