The saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 1/4 inches. The porcelain it thin and translucent. The cup has a hand painted scene that surrounds the entire surface. An 18th century couple, of noble birth, are holding hands and reading a letter. The painting is soft and dream-like...

Splendid vase made in France in the last quarter of the 19th Century. Cobalt-blue porcelain slender ovoid body finely painted with angelical theme (signed). Marble base, molded bronze cloisonne on the shoulder, neck and foot. Excellent condition. Height 9", diameter 2.25" aprox.

Unusual antique French Limoges gold trimmed porcelain oyster plate depicting different sea grasses. In excellent condition, it measures 9.5" diameter.

NOTE: A very interesting technique was used to create the effect of underwater movement. They 1st printed the image in light green, then printed the same image in dark pink over it, but slightly offset. Where the images overlapped, it created a 3rd color, brown, which establishes the main part of the plant.

This porcelain serving dish was produced in France by Tressemann & Vogt Limoges between 1892 and 1907. The blank porcelain was sold white ware to the renowned painter Ester Miler for decoration in New York City. The artist’s signature is in the decoration. The dish measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter. This set of 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers was produced in France by Haviland Limoges around 1910. The saucers are 4 3/8 inches in diameter. The cups are 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/8 inches. Notice the graceful shape of the handle. The decoration is high quality. Borders of raised gilded rosettes encircle each piece. The cup has exquisitely delicate gilding just inside the rim of the cup. Even the foot rings of the cups and saucers are heavily gilded...

These 5 ceramic cups and saucers were produced in France by Creil, c.1820. The factory was founded in 1797 and continues today. The Victoria & Albert Museum has examples of Creil cream ware on exhibit. The saucers measure 4 3/4 inches in diameter and 1 1/4 inches deep. They would be a coffee size. The cups are 2 1/4 inches high. They have an ivory hue to the ceramic. They are decorated with factory transfers in black creating a striking contrast...

This late 19thC cabinet or display plate is 9-5/8" across and it features fine gilding, a scalloped edge with high relief gilt vines with a pink ground and a beautiful signed free hand painted central portrait of a pretty young woman picking flowers...

The ground color of this set is deep cobalt blue. The cup has a reserve on the front with a Watteau scene of lovers in a garden. There are two scenes of landscapes on the saucer. Ornate gilded cartouches frame these scenes. It is very similar to work done at the Sevres factory and even the handle is the same style...

French Sevres porcelain urn-form vase in a cobalt glaze, decorated with ornate ormolu mounts and a bronze cherub holding a dove. 19th century. The vase had once been converted into a lamp. Size: 24.25 inches ht. x 12.5 inches wide x 9 inches deep. Very nice condition, no chips or cracks or breaks.

This porcelain oyster plate was produced France by Haviland & Co. Limoges. The mark was used between 1876-1880. It measures 8 3/4 inches in diameter. The plate has 6 wells with salt compartment in the center. The decorations are a factory transfer that is hand colored. The ground color is mauve. An assortment of sea creatures and plant life are scattered around the surface of the plate. The colors are vivid and the shape is interesting. Condition: Excellent

A Pair of lobed dinner plates 9 3/8 inches (23.8 cm) diameter with a dentil gilt edge and overall sprig decoration. The cornflower sprigs are primarily blue and green with a touch of red. Both plates have the crossed torches in underglaze blue. The factory, Locre, Russinger, Pouyat is called Locre or sometime La Courtille. It was active from 1773-1824.

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Some stacking wear at the edge of the wells.

This porcelain tea pot was produced in France by Bawo & Dotter Elite Works Limoges in the late 19th century. The pot measures 7 1/2 inches from the handle to the spout and is 4 1/2 inches high. It is made of fine, white hard paste porcelain. It is decorated with factory transfer decoration that is accented with gold. The designs are intricate and resemble tapestry. In addition, there are bands of heavy embossed gold in the decoration. The handle, spout and rims are trimmed with heavy gold....

They are decorated with a factory transfer of bright pink roses and garlands of foliage. The handles and rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: There is barely visible wear to the gilded rims of a couple of the cups. Considering their age, it is very slight.
