A well decorated, monogrammed and marked hard paste porcelain plate. The outside border is decorated with a narrow peach ground and elaborate gilding with green dots and red lines. It includes a monogram dominated by the letter "R." The center of the plate is decorated with hand trumpet honeysuckle.

The ground color of this set is deep cobalt blue. The cup has a reserve on the front with a Watteau scene of lovers in a garden. There are two scenes of landscapes on the saucer. This pair of porcelain plates was produced in France in the late 19th century. They are 10 inches in diameter. They have hand painted portraits of Mme Pompadour and Napoleon. There is an artist’s signature Garnier on each one. The borders are celeste blue that are decorated with ornate raised gilding. These plates are highly decorative and will display beautifully. They are in excellent condition.
