Pretty Victorian porcelain child's cup decorated with a transfer scene of a little girl in an ornate purple dress flanked by bouquets of roses. The cup is modeled with raised design.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Davenport between 1850 and 1870. The mark is impressed on the bottom of the saucer. The saucer is 4 7/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 1 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 3 inches. It is made of fine bone china. The decoration is inspired by the Asian Imari pattern. This porcelain serving dish was produced in France by Theodore Haviland Limoges in the late 19th century. It measures 13 inches long and 6 3/4 inches wide. The porcelain has molded decoration and handles are built into the dish. We know that it is factory decorated since there is an impressed mark as well as a printed mark. The border is turquoise blue. This color blue is used in the decoration and is overlaid with fancy gilding so only a little of the blue shows through...

A 13 3/8 inch (34 cm) diameter Dutch delft blue and white charger depicting a vase with a pedestal base in the center and an elaborate chinoiserie border on the outer lip. 18th century more likely earlier than later.

Condition; major chunk out of left edge replaced but discernable by discoloration of the paint over. Losses along the edge all around the dish.

This set of 8 porcelain egg cups was produced in Germany by Helena Wolfsohn in the 1890s. They measure 2 1/2 inches high and the base is 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The porcelain is molded with a swirl decoration. There are panels with tiny hand painted flowers on the cup and base. They are outlined with gold. The borders are decorated with gold filigree. This set is delicate and precious. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in the U.S.A. by Lenox between 1894 and 1906. The plate has a diameter of 9 inches. It was commissioned for the retailer Bailey, Banks & Biddle of Philadelphia. The plate is artist signed W.H. Mosley who was a prominent painter at Lenox. The plate has a soft cream colored ground. The center is hand painted in subtle colors in a rather “Impressionistic” manner. The birds are identified as “Snipe” found in marsh lands...

These two porcelain plates were produced in Germany by Royal Berlin KPM Manufactory c. 1870. They measure 9 inches in diameter. The borders have an intricate reticulated rim. There are ribs molded in the porcelain toward the middle of the plate. It is completely hand painted in a pattern reminiscent of Meissen’s Blue Onion. Condition: Excellent, first quality.

The plate is decorated with a factory transfer design with tiny sea creatures and seaweed. These designs are colored by hand. There is brushed on gilded accents around the shells and on the border. This porcelain covered bowl with underplate was produced in England by George Jones in the 1870s. The underplate has a diameter of 6 1/2 inches, the bowl is 4 1/2 inches high and 7 inches long across the handles. The set is marked with an impressed Jones mark. The porcelain is very fine, white bone china. The underplate is contoured so that the well is raised up to meet the bottom of the bowl. The handles on the lid and sides of the bowl are made to imitate branches. They have gilded accent...

A very nicely molded Leeds creamware plate with underglaze blue decoration of an oriental man standing beside a low fence holding a parasol in one hand and pointing with his other while the birds fly in the sky beyond. Impressed mark that reads, “EDS*POTTERY.” 9 ¼ inches diameter (23.5 cm).

Condition: no chips cracks hairlines or repairs. The glaze is crackled and feels slightly rough on the back.
