Beautiful New England Glass Company Plated Amberina tumbler. This rare tumbler is 3 3/4 inches tall, 2 3/8 inches in diameter at the base and 2 ½ inch diameter at the top. This nicely colored piece shades from red at the top to pale yellow at the base, cased over a pale cream liner. There are nine vertical ribs on the tumbler, a polished pontil mark and the rim is fire polished.

Beautiful Peachblow glass Pair - these were souvenirs sold at the Chicago World's Fair in 1893. The glass pear is 5 inches high and 2 1/2 inches wide. The glass is in fine condition.

A pair of Victorian vaseline opalescent glass epergne bowls. This fine pair of blown molded bowls date to the 1880s. An exceptional and rare cameo glass bride basket on quadruple silver plate stand. The rose colored cameo is striking and as fresh today as it was c. 1880 when it was first created. The glass was produced by Mt Washington while the silverplate was produced by Pairpoint and is so marked. The basket handle uses a branch and leaf motif with the latter being applied over the former. The basket well is reticulated, the base having swirls and leaves, all standing on 4 feet...

A cranberry thumbprint pattern glass pickle cruet on a silver plated stand from the 1890 era. The ornate stand is 11-3/4" tall and it has a nice decorative design as does the original silver plated lid; it is stamped with the Standard Silver Co. mark, which was in business in Toronto before 1893 (they later merged with International in 1913). The cranberry glass liner/jar has a thumbprint pattern and it fits snugly in the rim on the base...

A pair of unmarked Wave Crest “Daisy” salt shakers. The flat rims of the shakers are decorted with a dainty floral pattern and the undersides of the bases are embossed “Patented June 2 1891." The shakers are perfect and are 2 ½ inches in diameter.

A nice example of an antique scrambled glass paperweight by the New England Glass Company. The set-up contains a colorful variety of complex canes, filigree and twists in a nicely compact grouping. There are least three complex canes with white eagle silhouettes against a field of dark purple. There are no annealing problems and few bubbles in the set-up. The glass of the dome has good color and clarity. The bottom is concave with a basal ring.

This stunning Victorian tomato glass basket by Boston & Sandwich Glass Company is made from two layers of cased glass, a tomato or orange-red color over yellow with an applied clear single twist thorn handle and 4 applied clear feet. An unusual feature is that top rim of the bowl folds over and is studded with large tomato hobnail bumps ending with a crimped edge which finishes with a narrow clear band. A very good fruit bouquet paperweight by the New England Glass Company. Four pears alternate with cherries and foliage around a central pear. The lampwork fruit is particularly nice in this weight. The bouquet is presented against a spiraling double latticinio basket. The dome is high and offers nice magnification. The crystal is a bit sugary, as is typical of many NEGC weights. The concave base has a wide basal ring.

Wonderful old Millville, NJ area glass paperweight wig stand or mantel ornament. The setup is pierced with five elongated icepick bubbles. Small bits of aventurine glass highlight the overall coloring of soft yellow and green. The top is heavily faceted with 33 printies of varying sizes. A unusually fine example of a scrambled weight by the New England Glass Company. The weight includes latticinio twists and millefiore canes. The set-up includes a complex red, white and blue cane (visible through the concave bottom of the weight) formed of a heart silhouette surrounded by stars. The canes are tightly packed for a very nice appearance. The glass is quite clear.

This is a large, signed Crown Milano glass jar/jardiniere made by Mt Washington. It is an exceptionally large jar: it is 10 3/4 inches wide and 8 1/4 inches high. The jar is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or repairs (there is some expected, age-appropriate fading to the paint). It is signed in its polished pontil.

A pretty Victorian mercury glass vase in rare peacock blue. The surface is frosted and enhanced with painted decoration of fuchsias an autumnal colors. Some areas of the background are left unfrosted for a nice contrast. Blue is a very unusual color for mercury glass pieces.

Origin: America, ca. 1850. Condition: very good, no chips or cracks, lead plug is missing and some oxidation in the foot and light oxidized pinpoints the main part of the body. Size: 8” tall.

A beautiful hyacinth bulb vase by the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company, decorated in opaque overlay cut to clear in in a panel and trailing vine design. The top is enhanced with a cobalt blue lip and the bottom is slightly footed and star-cut. The overall form is very elegant. The shape was blown in the company's #123 mold and the cutting is identical to known labeled pieces. Vases of this shape were used to hold a single flowering bulb, usually a hyacinth, but sometimes a daffodil or tulip.

Offered is this monumental-sized New England peachblow glass lily vase, made around 1890. The vase is 17 1/2 inches tall, 7 inches wide at the top and has a base-width of 6 1/4 inches. Though New England glass company made lily vases in various sizes, it is rare to come across a New England peachblow glass vase of this large a size (this is the largest-size lily vase they made). Offered is this pair of Mt Washington Burmese glass vases with applied handles in their 'Egyptian' pattern. Each vase is 7 inches tall, 4 1/4 inches wide (handle-tip to handle-tip) and both vases are in excellent condition (mentioned for accuracy: there is a black mark on the inside of one vase, perhaps from the flowers displayed in it - see picture). Offered are these two beautiful, hand-painted Victorian glass ewers. The amber-colored thumbprint jug is 8 3/4 inches tall and 6 3/4 inches wide. The Mary Gregory one is 8 inches tall and 7 inches wide. Both ewers were blown (has pontil-bottoms - see last two pictures) and are without chips, cracks or repairs. Both jugs fluoresce a gentle green when exposed to long-wavelength black-light, showing that they are made of late 19th century soda-lime glass blanks.

Although not marked, this art glass piece bears the styling and quality of Victorian pieces made by the Stevens and Williams Ltd of England and in the 1870s under the direction of John Northwood (son Harry Northwood was a glass maker in America). The body is an oval pill-shaped translucent light turquoise glass with an open oval top that is bordered with a scalloped ribbon crest. At each narrow end is a small applique of amber glass. 24054902 A satin finish Wheeling peachblow number 13 stick vase in a lustreless finish by Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. of Wheeling, WV. The vase is 8 ½ inches tall and 3 1/4 inches in diameter. There are no imperfections.

A classic Sandwich glass hyacinth vase in a rich amethyst shade. The vase is entirely hand blown, shows the traces of hand marvering, and has a large oblong bubble on one side about two inches above the bottom. The deeply concave base has a rough pontil and a basal ring showing the expected wear. Hyacinth vases, sometimes called tuplip vases or bulb vases, were used to force flowering bulbs for wintertime blooms indoors. This gem was the product of the Gundersen-Pairpoint Company in the mid 20th century, but ended up the collection of an avid glass addict.
