An elegant and superbly proportioned antique English toasting wine glass with a a drawn flared trumpet bowl atop a plain stem and conical foot; rough pontil. A beautiful, tall, and graceful glass, and quite uncommon in lead, as this one is.

This beautiful turquoise or robin's egg blue goblet is elegant and timeless. Its tall urn shaped bowl sits atop a short stem with globular knop. There are no seams which suggests that it is hand blown. While it is unmarked it is believed to be made by the highly regarded German-French glass maker Vallerysthal & Portieux. My glass expert believes that it dates to c. 1930, although I have reason to believe that it may be earlier...

Outstanding and gorgeous Victorian liquor decanter in cranberry overshot glass. The body is blown in a ribbed shape and is accented with vertical gilt stripes. The neck is fitted with a silverplate collar and the most extraordinary silverplated jockey head stopper.

Origin: probably England, ca. 1890. Condition: excellent, except for two very short, stable hairlines at the neck that are original to the piece; stopper retains the original cork and fits well. Size: 12-3/4" tall.

Offered is this beautiful, Moser purple-to-clear vase with deep-cutting of flowers, made around 1900. The vase is 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) tall and is in good condition. Broad polished pontil with slight 'pull'.

A fine example of an antique air twist glass. The pointed round funnel bowl is engraved with a fruiting vine, and raised on a multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) stem above a conical foot with a rough pontil.

The condition is excellent, with no chips, scratches, or restoration. Good color, striations, and tooling marks. The height is 6 1/8" with a bowl diameter of 2 3/8" and a foot diameter of 2 5/8".

An extremely large, beautiful, and fine English wine glass, elegant in its simplicity. The bucket bowl sits above a stem of the double series opaque twist type, which has a pair of spiral threads outside of a central gauze.

Two bowls and a lidded box in blue opaline glass. The bowls undecorated, the box with some gilt. All three French and from the 2nd empire / Napoléon III period, c 1850’s. The blue colour is the same as the “bleu céleste” so much en vogue in Sèvres porcelain of the time. Height of larger bowl: 3 ¼”/8 cm, diameter 4 ¾”/12 cm, diameter of box "2 ¾ / 7 cm. A stunning cranberry-cut-clear cut glass claret jug with a hammered sterling silver collar and hinged lid with a palmate finial. The Aesthetic-style hammered silver makes are particularly nice counterpoint to the Gothic-inspired design of the cutting which combines tall arches of small diamond cutting divided at the top with elongated triangles of larger diamond cutting. A single series opaque twist drinking glass with an extremely gutsy presence. Single series glasses are rarer than double series opaque twists glasses, and this one, with its round funnel bowl, and opaque twist comprised of a multi-ply outlined corkscrew is a very strong example, with a large foot. 6 inches tall, 2 5/16 inch bowl diameter, 3 1/16 inch foot diameter.
