Very rare heart shaped gilt bronze-mounted dresser tray with handmade lace insert. This is the only heart-shaped dresser tray I've ever seen. Marked on the bottom "France."

A handsome Victorian bronze pen tray with a native American motif. One end of the tray has a very detailed representation of an Indian wearing a feathered headdress and various jewelry. The tray itself has a wonderful relief scene depicting an encampment. A group of warriors are gathered around a fire smoking a pipe and wearing feathered bonnets and loincloths. Teepees are in the background, along with a number of palm trees...

A pair of scrolling cast bronze chenet with good chasing. The iron backbars are probably replacements. Approximately 12 inches tall, 11 inches across (each one) and with backbars about 16 inches deep.

The condition is excellent without any losses. Could really shine if that is the desired finish.

Cold-painted Viennese bronze sculpture of a devil by Franz Bergman. This half-goat half-man figure is very well detailed, even showing the individual vertebrae along his back and the curls of his hair.

A Pair of Bronze and Onyx Garnitures Urns from the Late 19th century. They were originally made to go with a mantle clock. Dimensions 14" high, including base x 4" wide. Excellent condition.

Handsome gilt bronze figure of a reclining dog (some variety of hound) mounted as a paperweight on a butterscotch marble base. The statue retains its original gilt surface and has achieved a very pleasing patina. The marble base is richly colored with gray veining.

Origin: France, circa 1850. Condition: some flaking to bottom edges of marble base, no cracks, no damage to bronze figure. Size: 4-1/4" x 2-3/8" x 2-1/4" tall.

A lovely early North-European bronze tripod Pan, dating to the 17th.-18th. century AD.

An early type of Scandinavian bronze or bell-metal pan for open fire with three legs and a closed handle. Later crude owners initials and dating to 1806. This particular alloy and type dates to c. 1690-1720.

The pan with wonderful patina, extensive wear and numerous repairs from the time of use.

A good bronze footed trumpet base by bronze artisan Carl Sorensen. The surface is patinated in a mottled bluish-green shade and is enhanced with bands of parallel engraved lines in a bright copper finish. Most of Sorensen’s vases did not have a foot, and the addition of the small foot—also enhanced with a bright copper edging—adds special appeal. Sorensen is known to have worked in Philadelphia in the first part of the 20th century, making bronze wares in the Arts & Crafts tradition...

Beautiful bronze statue by Eugene Marioton, French, 1854-1925, titled "Vainquer." The statue itself stands 27 1/2" tall, and it sits on a bronze and rogue marble pedestal that measures 44" tall, making the complete set just under 6" tall. The statue is inscribed Eug. Marioton, and Siot-Decauville is the French foundry. There is some minor pitting on the bottom by the signature, but none at all on the statue body or pedestal This beautiful statue and pedestal is being sold as a set only.

The sun dial very elaborate with engraved birds on either side of a Griffin center shade, with a brass spike, othervise in bronze. Inscribed with Roman numbers and dated 1635. Finely patinated in red and dark bronze and in perfect condition.

An incredible monumental Japanese solid cast bronze Peace Bell custom iron stand with clapper. Inscription with dated, location and donor of bell. Bell is in excellent original condition with no repairs or damage...

From our European Collection, a good late 19th century bronze figural inkwell, probably French.

Size and Condition: 9 inches wide, 5 1/4 inches tall, 6 1/4 inches deep. Some verdigris to the patina, the interior glass ink container liner has a small crack, and the inkwell lid does not fully close, though this can easily remedied with a competent repair. Still fine overall condition.

A finely detailed cast bronze jewel box, the cover decorated with a scene of Don Quixote astride his horse followed by his loyal Sancho Panza on his donkey. The end panels feature bas relief images of Cervantes flanked by cherubs, and the back panel a bas relief of Don Quixote wearing an armored helmet. Cherubs and dolphins decorate the front. The interior is lined in a bright red velvet...

This is a beautiful, large bronze cherub standing on a rouge marble base from the late l9th century that was made into a lamp. It measures 45" tall to the top of the light. The cherub itself is 20" tall and it stands on a marble base that is 10 1/2" tall. It is in beautiful condition, the cherub's arms are pinned where they should be and its a beautiful addition to any home. I can find no artist name or stamps on the piece, but it is a great 19th century sculpture.

An absolutely delightful bronze calling card tray, the center designed with a small frog atop a traditional baroque-style wave. The top edge of the dish has a wonderful scene of four frogs riding big-wheel bicycles along a road. They have quite good balance, as all have their arms crossed. The lead frog is even smoking a pipe. Road markers reading “2Km” and “3Km” mark their progress. The frog and bicycle design was taken directly from a J & P Coats thread company advertisement used ...

From our European Collection, a fine and elegant 19th century bronze tazza, probably French, featuring well-cast leonine head motifs with twisted serpentine handles, supported upon a tapering circular pedestal base with some very attractive and realistically cast floral motifs.
