Sterling silver cream or sauce ladle with an Art Nouveau design of lilies. This form was used to ladle cream or other sauces for the desert course. They could also be used for main course sauces that did not require a full-sized gravy ladle. The reverse is marked "Sterling Pat. 1902". Before 1916, many American silversmiths did not mark their name on flatware. Unknown maker.

Handle has allover floral repousse with feathered leaf border at bottom. Blade recto has acid-etched monogram with elongated, interlaced, and whiplash letters. Edwardian Classical sterling silver vase. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1912. Tapering sides with flared mouth rim and stepped round foot. Acid-etched vertical ornament with alternating wide and narrow curvilinear frames with stylized leaves and volute scrolls; foot encircled with curvilinear volute scrolls and pendant flower heads. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 18193B (first produced in 1912), and director’s letter m. Very good condition with strong definition.

Russian 875 silver ladle, ca 1880. Oval bowl and fiddle terminal with engraved initials and year 1881. A nice serving piece from the twilight of tsarist Russia. An Early Silver Beaker, North European, Baroque period, dated 1701.

A beautiful engraved and large beaker with an extrafine decoration, consisting of vertical lines, framed with double concenthric lines on the body; with two beautifully engraved Floral medallions and another central medallion, engraved with P.F.S.S / Z.F.D.S and below the inscription with 1704. Stamped with three symethrically placed stamps in the bottom.

Oval silver box and lid of tea caddy shape, the knop of the lid a natural oval stone, probably veined gneiss. Engraved Georgian style borders and crest, the crest with a dedication, “From Steanis”, a gift in Georgian style and probably made around 1900. The box is unmarked and has been tested as sterling silver. Its weight is 798 grams. Length "7 ¼ / 18.5 cm, height including the knob "4 ¾ / 12cm. Condition: a few scratch marks around the crest and a minimal dent to the backside (cf. pics)...

This tea kettle / tea pot was made by the Southington Silver Company Ca 1900. It is quadruplated by Gerssmt.

The stand and kettle have the #2104 marked on the bottom.

The swing handle has the initial FWC engraved.

My picture #4 shows the only place where where I see any wear.

The pin for the hinge on the wick cover needs to be replaced.

It is in spectacular shape for its age.

A very rare and superb hand made genuine QING DYNASTY SILVER BOWL, with extensive open carving work and depicting the Dragons chasing the flaming Pearl. The base is stamped by a Chinese Hallmark: "SS, followed by a Chinese Character and 90, SUN SHING" as shown in one of the photographs, ca. 1900. Weight: 199 gr. excluding the inset glass bowl. Size: height 7.6 cm. x 13.5 cm. diameter. This silver bowl also has a later added glass inset bowl, which can be removed for easy cleaning!

A superb late 19th century first standard (950/1000 pure) silver berry spoon with a shell-form gilt bowl. These spoons were originally intended for serving strawberries. The front of the handle is decorated with a twisting wreath of holly leaves and berries, and the back with a similar wreath of thistles.
