A set of eight sterling silver fruit spoons in Gorham’s elegant 1910 “Buckingham” pattern. The handle is bordered by a series of intertwined scrolls before terminating in an acanthus leaf motif. The backs of the handles have decoration mirroring the fronts. The pattern is extremely similar to “Chantilly” and could easily be used with a Chantilly service. The backs are marked with Gorham’s early 20th century hallmarks.

Three English silver fiddle serving spoons, all three made in London. One is Georgian, the other two Victorian. Spoon with engraved N has year marks for 1841 and makers mark GA for George William Adams, engraved JJH 1842, makers mark RB for Richard Britton and AVW 1829, makers mark JH for Jonathan Hayne. Length "8 ¾ - 9/ 22.5 – 23 cm, weight altogether 213 grams. Condition: fine.

This is a CONTINENTAL SILVER SUGAR SIFTER with Gilded Bowl. Made of Heavy Gauge 800 Silver the Front has a Pair of CUPIDS atop the Handle, one playing a Flute and the other has Cymbals. The Front is Nicely Decorated with Flowers and Fruit. The BOWL is Gilded and Pierced for Sugar (can be liquid). Length is 7 1/4" and the Bowl is 2 3/8" at the Widest. Marked on the back: 800 with a German or Italian Mark. Excellent Condition and a BEAUTY.

Ornate Victorian sterling silver pie server by Gorham. The pattern is very similar to "Dresden", but is not an exact match. The handle is covered with various motifs, including shells, flowers, scrolls, and foliage. The bowl is very nicely scalloped and elegantly decorated with engraving to match the handle. The original gilding has faded to a soft lemon shade. Pie servers are not very common and are quite useful for all sorts of pie, pastries or cakes, or even tea sandwiches...

Elegant Victoria sterling silver pin cushion by Gorham. The silver surface is encrusted with repousse decoration of chrysanthemums and forget-me-nots. A rococo reserve is engraved with a period 3-letter monogram. This style of decoration is rather unusual for Gorham. The bottom is fully hallmarked, including the date mark for 1901. The pincushion also retains its original red velvet covering, a rare survivor.

A rare Channel Islands sterling silver trefid table spoon by silversmith Thomas David Mauger, of Jersey (active 1730-1796). Circa 1740. Engraved with original owner's initials "ILC" in shaded block letters on the reverse of the notched trefid handle. There is a worn ribbed rat tail to the reverse of the shallow bowl. Size: 7 1/8 inches length. Condition: Some tip wear to bowl and also a repair to a split in the bowl' rim. Wear to rat tail...

Outstanding pair of early American coin silver sugar tongs. The arms are cut in a modified fiddle shape and are decorated with superb applied fruit baskets. The claws are shaped as scallop shells. The end has a period monogram “BC”. These are undoubtedly the finest coin silver sugar tongs we’ve seen. The inside is marked with an unidentified pseudo-hallmark.

An enamel 800 silver enamel snuffbox or snuff box depicting the German resort city of Bad Ems. It measures 1-15/16" x 1-3/8". The lid is slightly convex and it is just under 5/8" deep/tall. The top of the hinged oval box features a completely hand enameled aerial scenic view of the city. It takes a enamelist of some training and skill, as not only must they be able to depict the view properly in enamel, but know how the enamel reacts when it is fired, as the colors change...

An Indonesian Yogya solid silver belt buckle from 1900 or earlier. This beautifully hand tooled openwork buckle measures 4-1/2 x 2-7/8" when the two halves are attached with their hook and eye clasp. They have one belt retention bar each and it is unsigned but tests as high grade silver. This fine fashion accessory weighs 62.2 grams and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A rare sterling silver pickle fork in Towle’s 1887 “Pomona” pattern. The long handle is decorated with a cornucopia overflowing with peaches, pears and grapes amidst foliage. The handle twists before leading into the matte gild three-tined fork. This piece would have been used for pickled vegetables, but could now be used for a variety of foods. The long size is much more difficult to find than the shorter version. The back is stamped with Towle’s hallmark and the patent date.
