A rare Channel Islands sterling silver trefid table spoon by silversmith Thomas David Mauger, of Jersey (active 1730-1796). Circa 1740. Engraved with original owner's initials "ILC" in shaded block letters on the reverse of the notched trefid handle. There is a worn ribbed rat tail to the reverse of the shallow bowl. Silver stuffing spoon, 12 1/8" in length, the bowl 1 7/8" wide at the widest point, weight close to four ounces on a common postal scale, bearing the marks on the reverse of the noted mid eighteenth century London craftsman JOHN LAMPFERT, who was known to be working in silver from at least 1749. I am an art dealer, so, not experienced with silver. There are a number of stamps in the handle...

An ornate, finely decorated rectangular galley drinks tray c1910. This 11-1/8 x 8" tray has a pierced gallery and it is of heavy and solid construction (it weighs 640 grams). It is silver plated on copper and it has the maker's mark for Charles Howard Collins of Birmingham, England (founded c1895)...

An Edwardian sterling silver pin or dresser tray hallmarked Birmingham, England 1903. This 5-3/4 x 2-5/8" tray has a lined interior, a rounded lip edge and a fancy EWP monogram in the central oval monogram area. It weighs 32.6 grams, it has a set of British silver hallmarks and an obscured maker's mark. It is in very good condition with no bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a few small and shallow dents...

Unusual pretty little coin silver basket embossed on front and sides with flowers and is finished off with a gold rope tie. The top is ruffled or fluted with a rolled edge. Inside has a gold wash and is hallmarked "900 A K".

A 19thC Davis Bros. sterling silver napkin ring. This 1-7/8" diameter and 1-1/4" wide late 19th century sterling silver napkin ring is stamped DAVIS BROS. and STERLING. There are a number of American silversmiths/firms with the name Davis, also a Toronto manufacturing firm of that name. It could possibly also refer to a retailer. It has a script AC(?) monogram, it weighs a substantial 40 grams, and it is in excellent vintage condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A popular motif that is sometimes known as Wave Edge. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 5766, and director’s letter C (1902-07). Very good condition.

Russian 875 silver ladle, ca 1880. Oval bowl and fiddle terminal with engraved initials and year 1881. A nice serving piece from the twilight of tsarist Russia. Marks include maker’s (PA) stamp and Moscow assayer’s (Aleksandr Nicolayevich Krollau) stamp dated 1880. Very good condition with nice patina.

A wonderful set of six Victorian silverplate napkin rings. The outsides are decorated with two cherubs grasping baroque reserves framed with swirls of acanthus leaves, pendant bellflowers and other ornate decorative devices. The insides are brightly gilt. It is very unusual to find a complete matching set of Victorian napkin rings.

Origin: probably American, circa 1890. Condition: all original, no monograms, normal wear the the plating on the insides and outsides...

Scrolled and wavy rim in form of flowering rose vine with both tight buds and full blooms. Stationary u-handle applied with graduated flower heads and split scroll mounts. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 16268 (first produced in 1904), and director’s letter C (1902-7). Very good condition.

A Sterling Silver Asparagus Fork or Server by the Alvin Corp. of Providence, RI (and bought by Gorham in 1928) in the rare Monterey pattern, produced only in 1895. It is 8.75" in length and has a heavily scripted monogram, possibly "MN". In very good condition.
