Pretty Art Nouveau sterling silver picture frame. Made by Meriden Britannia (part of International) in Connecticut, ca 1900. Rectangular window in flat surround with irregular interior rim. On front acid-etched wraparound scrolling leafing branch threaded-through corner circles; sides plain. With glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged easel support. German 800 silver figural wedding cup, ca 1920. A Baroque dame with snug-fitting bodice and wide and raised lace collar holds aloft scrolled-brackets with swing-mounted double-domed lobed and garlanded bowl. Second larger bowl in form of conical skirt with patterned fabrics and delineated folds and hang. Ornament chased and engraved. Hanau maker’s mark (Neresheimer). Very good condition with nice patina.

This silver plate Meriden Britania Co. Number 202 napkin ring is a long tailed bird resting upon the stem of a large leaf,its tips creating the feet. The banded napkin ring holder has in its center a leaf design with the space for engraving. This space is engraved "Ella" very lightly and very small. The Japanning shows some wear and there is a bump to the side of the ring. It is hallmarked "Meriden" in a circle. Lots of detailing on this item.

A rare and elegant boxed set of six sterling silver citrus spoons in Paye & Baker's "Orange" pattern. The handles are decorated front and back with oranges, orange blossoms and foliage. Handsome gilt bronze figure of a reclining dog (some variety of hound) mounted as a paperweight on a butterscotch marble base. The statue retains its original gilt surface and has achieved a very pleasing patina. The marble base is richly colored with gray veining.

Origin: France, circa 1850. Condition: some flaking to bottom edges of marble base, no cracks, no damage to bronze figure. Size: 4-1/4" x 2-3/8" x 2-1/4" tall.
