An elegant late Victorian jewelry box in the Louis XVI style. The sides and lid are decorated with delicate raised birds and floral sprays against a stippled background. Engraved volutes at the corners accent the main decoration. The edges are decorated in a typical French bound reed design. The whole is raised on turned feet. The brass plating is beautifully patinated to a lustrous sheen.

A finely decorated late 19th Century Renaissance/Gothic styled copper/bronze twin-handled dish or plaque. This item was made in Germany circa 1875-1900 and is signed Gustav Grohe (1829-1906). Condition - excellent - no damages or repairs...

Measures 9 1/2" high, and roughly the same from tip of spout to end of handle, base is 5 1/2" wide and 4 1/4" deep. Beautifully engraved with foliate and scrolling designs, an oval cartouche on each side. Beading at base and top, bone finial, bone inserts on handle. Handle wobbles a bit, but is firmly affixed with visible wire. Lid fits tightly, no leaks or damage. Base is well marked, and appears to date the piece to the period between 1842 and 1864...

This 6-1/2" tall server is 5-1/2" across, it has an openwork window-style design and pierced handle, and it is stamped with the Canadian Meriden mark with an 1890 pattern number. An English sterling pierced mint or candy basket dated 1907. This attractive, well-made Edwardian sterling silver mint dish or basket is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1907. This 5" x 2-3/4" dish features fine openwork, it has an L&S maker's mark (for Levi and Salaman, and 1907 registry number. It weighs 32.1 grams, and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a very slight bend on one edge at the end...

Wonderful figural sterling silver child's spoon especially for Easter. The handle is decorated with two chicks recently hatched from their eggs above the word "Easter" and an Easter lily. Interestingly, the teardrop shape of the bowl is that used in Victorian times for egg spoons. The back is marked by Durgin and also by D. Low of Salem, MA (maker of the famous Salem Witch spoon). Circa 1890. 4.5" long. Excellent condition, including intact gilding on the interiors of the cracked eggs.

Gorgeous sterling silver berry spoon in Durgin's 1891 "Watteau" pattern. The rococo design of the handle is wonderful on its own, but when combined with the decoration of the bowl, it's stunning! The back is hallmarked by Durgin.

Origin: America, ca. 1895. Condition: excellent, all original, period monograms on both the front and back. Size: 7-1/2" long.

This elegant brush has repousse decorations depicting Art Nouveau lilies on the top, and fancy swirls on the handle. It measures 5-3/4” x 3". It is stamped Sterling, and there are other, illegible, marks. There is a little bit of damage to the silver at the top of the brush, which is exaggerated by the photos...

Five breeds represented. On back engraved block presentation: “J.G.R. / FROM / M.A.P.” In original leather-bound case with fitted velvet, silk, and gilt-stamped retailer’s stamp. A great canine collectible. Very good condition. Scottie has minor enamel loss on tail.
