This porcelain platter was produced in Germany by the Helena Wolfsohn Dresden studio in the 1880s. It is unusual to find an under glaze mark indicating this to be an earlier piece. It measures 14 1/2” long, 11” wide and 1 1/4” deep. The border is deep, cobalt blue. The center has a scene of people boarding sailing vessels. The coloring suggests that it evening. Poesy rings were popular in England and France during the 16th through the 17th centuries as lover's gifts. The quotations were often from courtship stories and are usually inscribed on the inner surface of the ring as is the case in this one. This ring amusingly reads "A virtuous Wife Preferreth Life". We imagine that in the 17th century, a woman was indeed better off being virtuous! We think this could make a more unusual and unique wedding band than a gold band...

This swivel fob is 1 1/4 inches in width with a beauifully carved repousse jump ring that is just shy of 1 inch. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England in 1882. The date letter indicates this year. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 ¼ inches high. The set is made of bone china. The cup features the traditional Worcester ring handle. The set is decorated with alternating bands of gold and yellow. A nice pair of Georgian English sterling 5-5/8" sugar tongs with elegant bright cut decoration. These tongs were made by Thomas Wallis and Jonathan Hayne in London, England 1816-17; they weigh 24.5 grams, they have an S over WxM monogram, and they are in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use...

18th century hand chased Georgian silver toddy ladle embossed with festoons, birds, flowers and a shield bearing the beautifully engraved initials "EC". These ladles were used to serve toddy from a serving rummer or punch bowl and ideal for warming brandy. The twisted whalebone handle affords a better grip and has a silver end cap. In excellent condition,just needs a little polishing, it measures 13 inches long; bowl measures 2.5" diameter, 1.25" deep. Circa 1770

A repousse sterling silver footed creamer made in Sheffield 1900. It is fully hallmarked for Sheffield, England 1900-1901. This 2-1/4" high serving piece has the maker's mark for either John Deacon & Son or John Dixon & Son, and it weighs 67 grams. This item is in mostly excellent condition with no breaks, corrosion, losses, repairs but it acquired some tiny edge dents on the right and left side edges from a recent disappearance (may need to expand the pictures to see it)...

This is a beautiful and elegant 18th lead toasting glass. It is of two part construction, and features a flared drawn trumpet bowl, and a multiple spiral (MSAT) stem on a conical foot with a rough snapped pontil.

Excellent color with good tool marks and striations on the bowl and foot; pristine condition. Please note that what appears to be a disturbance on the front of the bowl is merely a reflection or glare.

A tall 7 1/4" in height, 2 7/16" bowl diameter, 2 11/16" foot diameter.

A Mid-Victorian English Green Majolica Vase, with an Oriental Serpent Design; circa 1875. Dimensions 12" high x 5.5" wide. Excellent condition.

A pair of Mason's Patent Ironstone China plates circa 1820 in the "Chinese Wall" pattern with Under glaze blue and over glaze enamels with gilt highlights on the green border and the dots on the wall which is painted with different color blocks. The mark, “Mason’s Patent Ironstone China" is impressed in a single line on the back of the plates. Diameter is approx. 9 inches (22.9 cm).

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. There are some knife scratches and gilding wear...

A nice late Victorian South Jersey (Vineland/Millville area) glass paperweight with a frit “Home Sweet Home” design. The set-up is worked entirely in white frit and has few nice features including potted plants on the lawn, a picket fence, and a Y-shaped sidewalk. The glass is clean and has good magnification. The flat base is polished.

Very Rare 18th century English double knopped air twist wine glass with a stem featuring a pair of white spiral threads outside a vertical gauze, multi-ply spiral cable. This rare sterling silver filigree thimble is very old, circa 1810.

We love these royal blue mirror glass earrings which shine a brighter Bristol blue with the slightest head movement. the beveled hand carved edge is a lovely detail which was clearly time consuming for the maker. The plate glass factory at Vauxhall was known for its production of mirror glass, but in addition, the company employed skillful artisans to produce jewelry out of the remaining shards. A rare pair of Pearlware pottery figures depicting Venus and Neptune made in Staffordshire during either the late 18th or very early 19th Century. A similar pair of figures are illustrated in "The price Guide to 18th Century English Pottery" by Sally Mount, published by the Antique Collectors' Club (1972). Condition: there are some losses to the enamel colours; no cracks, no repairs and no restoration. 23.5cm (9.25 inches) high.

This porcelain lidded vase or ginger jar was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. It measures 3 ½ inches high and has a diameter of 3 inches. The shape is Asian inspired. It has a bright olive green enamel ground color. An intricate pattern of raised gold in two colors encircles the piece. A beautiful and well executed Dr. Wall Wall First Period Worcester tankard of rare size and pristine condition. This pattern, named the "Telephone Box", is derived from the Chinese, and is one of those designed specifically for upright pieces. It also is one of the very few patterns that occur both on polychrome and underglaze blue. It features two single figures and two groups of two figures each.
