This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. It measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The fine quality porcelain is colored cobalt blue. There are 3 cartouches containing sprays of vibrantly colored flowers. They are framed with elaborate gilding. You can see delightful bugs and butterflies fluttering amongst the flowers. An absolutely wonderful and highly amusing engraved baluster glass, actually a goblet, of soda metal. The round funnel bowl, which has a beaded base, is engraved with two rabbits carrying a dog in a sedan chair...

Three plates with orange ground lip, transfer border on the edge of the well and the center hand painted with different complex bouquets of wild flowers. All have the Royal Worcester mark on the bottom with the date of 1877 below. Also, the number 9522/A (?) is written in overglaze enamel. The plates are 9 inches (23 cm) diameter.

Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Some gilding wear on the edges and minor scratches.

This set of 6 porcelain plates was produced in Russia by the Kornilov Brothers factory in the 1880s. The plates measure 8 inches in diameter. They are decorated with a transfer design in soft pastel colors. The frolicking cherubs are taken from French Sevres designs. The plates are slightly scalloped on the edge and are trimmed with delicate gilding. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Richard Klemm Dresden Studio in the 1890s. The saucer measures 6 inches in diameter and the cup is 4 inches high. The cup has a pedestal base and the saucer is contoured with a raised well in the center. The saucer is a platform for the cup. The ground color is blue green. A very nice and unusual pencil face doll with sewn on brown ticking skirt that was made as a stump doll. She never had legs, see picture. She is 10" to the bottom of her skirt and 8" to the bottom of her body. She is firmly stuffed with cotton and is truly a prairie type country primitive doll. Circa 1880-90.

A very nice mauchline ware wooden hinged box decorated with seven Washington, DC scenes. American scenes are more difficult to find than English or Scottish scenes, and to find seven different images of the Washington DC area is most uncommon. The box retains its original blue silk lining. With the exception of Mount Vernon, all the buildings had been completed only 5-15 years before this piece was produced.

An extraordinary pair of painted tin toleware planters in the form of canoes. One is painted white with blue and red accent stripes and the other is red with blue and white accents. Each of the canoes has its original leather-wrapped wire hanger, and the undersides have trays to catch water drips. The drip trays also allow the canoes to placed on a surface instead of hanging. Offered is this beautiful, aquatic-themed, crackle-glass ewer, made most likely by Bohemian master, Moser, around 1910. The ewer is 7 inches (18 cm) high and 6 inches (15 cm) wide (to handle-tip). It is in good condition. Unsigned, as expected (for similar Moser crackle-glass, aquatic-themed objects, please refer to page 96 of Gary Baldwin's book, 'Moser artistic Glass - edition two').

This is a fine example of German engraved silver plated pewter box. Cherubs and garlands cover beautifully embossed in intricate relief work. Manufactured in the late 19th. Century or early 20th. Century by WMF.
Measures: 5.75" (14.60 cm) X 4.75" (12.06 cm) X 2.25" (5.71 cm) height.

Unusual 15K gold memorial ring depicting an urn in hair paint, surrounded by alternating rose diamonds and amethysts. The enameled band reads "John Jenkins died 20 Feb 1780". The back of the ring is engraved "In loving one sincerely there is great merit".

Condition: excellent

This is a well washed and loved red calico doll quilt. It is mostly treadle machine stitched with some hand sewing. The backing is a brown and cream calico print with a brown calico boarder on both front and back. It is very soft, faded a couple of tiny holes that gives it that great old worn look. This is my kind of quilt, old and worn and I realize it is not for everyone. It is 16" square and is from the 1890's with a Pennsylvania verbal history. (I love it.)
