An English Victorian Sterling Silver Inkstand or Standish with a Silver Lidded Inkwell. Hallmarked Birmingham, 1899, with makers mark indistinct (possibly Horace Woodward & Co,). Monogram FCS? and the date 1899. Dimensions 8" wide x 4.5" deep x 3.5" high. Very good condition.

An 18th century faience desk set or inkwell for a lady, decoration of flower sprigs, mainly Forget me nots. French, possibly Rouen around 1780, Width "6 ¼ / 15.8 cm and height " / 5.7 cm. The base with four little feet and mark W in black, maybe for William Sturgeon who owned one of the Rouen factories from 1776. Condition: later restorations having been removed, now left with cracks and hairlines (cf. pics) but still charming.

A fine George III Irish Silver Marrow Scoop. Hallnarked in Dublin in 1812, with the Makers Mark "CC" for Christopher Cummins. Dimensions; 9.25" long. Excellent condition.

Ten creamware dinner plates, transfer printed in puce with a cottage, a farmboy and cattle within a lace border, the outer rim with hand painted vine leaves, also in puce (one vine wreath partly in orange). From Herculaneum in Liverpool c 1810, all with the impressed mark of the pottery as a straight line, in the style of Wedgwood, the name of the pottery also competing with Wedgwood’s Etruria. Diameter "10 / 25.5 cm. Condition: all fine except for a hairline to one of the plates.

Edwardian Classical sterling silver bread tray. Made by Graff, Washbourne & Dunn in New York, ca 1900. Ovoid well with lobed ends and tapering sides; alternating scrolls and leaves applied to rim. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. 551. Very good condition.

A large double Irish chain pieced quilt with the chain consisting of red squares enclosing yellow ones on a white ground. The back is turned over the top to form the edge. The red border quilted with swags encloses a white border with a running feather wreath. Inside are red saw teeth and then the chains across the field. Cotton seeds visible through the back side. The white squares enclosed by the chain are quilted with a number of different circular motifs...

This porcelain tea cup, saucer and plate were produced in England by Spode Copeland in the late 19th century. The plate measures 5 5/8 inches square, the saucer measures 4 3/4 inches square and the cup is 2 5/8 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The set is interesting in that it is square in shape. It is decorated with cobalt blue borders that have raised enamel beading...

The Chelsea porcelain toy offered here is a magnificent 3 3/4 inch tall scent bottle in the form of a flower vendor dressed in a white apron, a blue bodice enhanced with a red ribbon, a yellow lined purple flowered jacket, and a turquoise skirt. She is holding an elongated basket of greenery in her right hand, and a large basket of flowers cradled in her left arm. Her hat is adorned with various types of fruit, as is the stopper of the bottle...

A German Saltglaze Bellamine. With crisply moulded mask and applied flower roundel. Germany E17thC. Height; 8 1/8" (20.5 cm). Condition;  chip to inside of lip otherwise excellent. With a very good glaze surface.

Possibly made in Italy or Denmark. With beaded base and knop stem. Finely etched with leaf garland (Imperial) surrounds the piece. Seals on the side. Early 20th Century.
Measures: 8 2/16" (20.32 cm) tall X 4.25" (10.79 cm) in diameter.

This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory known as KPM around 1835. The signature is in blue under the glaze. The cup is entitled “Das Konigl: Opernhaus u: Bluchers Stanbild.” Roughly translated it means “The Konigl Opera House at Blucher’s Statue”. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/4 inches and the cup measures 3 inches tall with a diameter of 3 5/8 inches...

A Russian gold (12 or 14 carat) elasticized bracelet. The center of the bracelet displays the shape of a flower made with half pearls and an emerald is located in the center. Made circa 1800-1810. The original jewelry case is included.
Measurement: Flower: 0.98" (2.5 cm) diameter, and the bracelet is 0.78" (2 cm) in wide.

Hand carved giltwood letter "G", unusual for being an italic letter and for the sides having contrasting black sand paint decoration. Gilt letters and numbers from 19th century trade signs have great graphic appeal and offer a fun opportunity to try to put together your name or initials.

Origin: American, 19th century. Condition: very good, all original surface, 40% wear to the black paint along the sides. Size: 7-3/4" high.

A Pair of Victorian Bristol Glass Vases, with Hand Painted Florals, Ruffled Rims and Unfinished Pontils. Height 9.5". Excellent condition.

A beautiful antique, English cameo glass vase, made most likely by Thomas Webb and Sons, around 1900. The vase is 8 1/4 inches (21 cm) tall and 4 1/4 inches (11 cm) wide at the shoulders. It is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or repairs (there are some fabrication flaws typical of hand-made items). Polished pontil.

Offered is this rare green-to-clear 'Cluthra' glass vase in a metal holder, made by WMF around 1900. The vase is 13 inches (33 cm) tall and 4 inches (10 cm) wide. The glass is in fine condition. A tiny portion of the metal end might be missing, since the end feels somewhat rough (see last picture)...

A gilt bronze figure of Heruka with fierce rolling tongue expression, holding a chopper and skull cup. The deity stands in a warrior's pose with right knee up and pivoting. The flowing drapery suggests movement and dance rituals. The figure is mounted on a bronze base.

Heruka is the name of a category of wrathful deities in Vajrayana Buddhism. These enlightened beings adopt a fierce countenance to benefit sentient beings. In East Asia, they are called Wisdom Kings...
