Antique, circa 1900 A.D...

This porcelain vase was produced in Germany by the Richard Klemm Dresden Studio around 1900. It is 8 7/8 inches tall and 3 inches across the handles. The ground color is iridescent aquamarine. The front of the vase has a reserve of young girl from the 19th century. The portrait is framed with shiny gold. The remainder of the vase has ornate raised gold swags, ribbons and trophy objects. This pair of crystal candle holders was produced in the early 20th century. We believe that they were made by an American glass company such as Libbey, Sinclaire or Pairpoint. There is no signature and the pattern does not lend itself to identification. They are 11 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the base is 4 1/4 inches. Measuring only 5.5 inches x 6.5 inches framed, this darling little pair of 19th century, American Folk Art, hand-colored lithographs depict two different homesteads in Macon County, Illinois.

An Arts & Crafts English sterling silver pierced tea strainer, fully hallmarked for Birmingham England 1905 - 1906. This sntique 5-1/2" leng strainer has a simple tubular handle with a closed end. It is widest at the handle end, and tapers towards the bowl. It has a pierced 2-3/4" bowl; it has a THH & Co. maker's mark, most likely for TH Hazelwood & Company. A fine example of a four knopped double series opaque twist (DSOT) antique wine glass. The bell bowl is over a stem with a pair of spiral threads outside of a central gauze, and with an annular knop and three ball knops. Conical foot with rough, snapped pontil.

The vast majority of opaque twist glasses have straight stems, and the addition of even one knop adds substantially to the difficulty of making them, and to the value. Each additional knop increases these factors...

Offered is this rare hand-enameled, marbled glass vase, made by Loetz around 1893 - this 'Malachit' glass was meant to emulate the natural stone, malachite. Loetz presented 'Malachit' glass vases in the World Symposiums in Chicago and Antwerp in 1893 and 1894 respectively. An American Federal Period Coin Silver Creamer or Milk Jug by John McMullin (1765-1843) of Philadelphia. Monogrammed on one side "PJG" with "BB" over it and "MB" under it and the dates 1790 and 1850. On the other side "NRG" and the date 1923. Presumably this was a family piece used over generations. Possibly given originally as a birth present. Dimensions; 6" x 6" x 4" at base; weight 8.2 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

Large sterling silver berry spoon in Blackinton's 1900 "Nautilus" pattern. The handle is elegantly decorated with scrolls and shells, and nicely complements the lobed bowl. The reverse is marked with Blackinton's hallmark.

This set of 8 porcelain egg cups was produced in Germany by Helena Wolfsohn in the 1890s. They measure 2 1/2 inches high and the base is 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The porcelain is molded with a swirl decoration. There are panels with tiny hand painted flowers on the cup and base. They are outlined with gold. The borders are decorated with gold filigree. A matching set of three Daisy and Button pattern early American pattern or pressed glass (EAPG) cruets consisting of a 3" salt and a 3" pepper shaker plus a 3-3/4" hinged-lid mustard pot. American Edwardian Classical sterling silver tea caddy, ca 1910. Ovoid ginger-jar bowl with short neck and bellied cover. Three chased leafing-scroll frames of which 2 vacant and 1 engraved with interlaced script monogram. Shoulder has flower heads on stippled ground. Cover top has central triangle on leaves. A fine old charmingly naive watercolor drawing of a boy dressed almost as a girl, in the style of the times, titled in pencil at bottom "William John Babb March 1834". This work appears to be in its original weathered old frame, the original surface beautifully alligatored.
