A very fine berry or casserole spoon in John R. Wendt's "Medallion" pattern. The handle features an oval reserve centered with a medallion profile of the Greek goddess Pallas Athena. The elongated bowl is beautifully scalloped. The back of the medallion has a period monogram "A" and the stem is marked with the retailer's mark for Ball, Black & Co. and with "925" for sterling. Wendt did not use his own hallmark in this period.

These 8 plates were produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. They are named scenes of famous places in the United Kingdom painted by E. Ball. They are 9" in diameter. The borders are cobalt blue. The center of each plate has a reserve containing scenes of ruins of castles and land- scapes of the English countryside. Sky, mountains and water are painted with great skill, in vivid colors. The scenes are framed in ornate raised gilding. Elaborate raised gilding fills the cobalt border...

Terrific Battersea-style enameled gin bottle/decanter label. The enamel is applied over metal and has polychrome floral decoration. The chain is brass.

German, c 1900, marked Rein Zinn 95 % (Pure Pewter 95 %) under a crown. Width "6 ¾ / 17.5 cm. Condition: fine, keeping its original oxidized decoration and patina, never polished.

Edwardian Rococo sterling silver mirror. Made by William Comyns in London in 1907. Heart-shaped beveled glass in shaped surround with pointed top and bracket supports. Embossed leafing scrolls and flowers in pell-mell, dynamic arrangement. At top scrolled cartouche engraved with the very turn-of-the-century name “Gertie”. Velvet mount with hinged easel support. A wonderful period piece with lots of charm. Fully marked. Very good condition. Velvet wear.

A Sterling Silver Asparagus Fork or Server by the Alvin Corp. of Providence, RI (and bought by Gorham in 1928) in the rare Monterey pattern, produced only in 1895. It is 8.75" in length and has a heavily scripted monogram, possibly "MN". In very good condition.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Doulton Burslem in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 ¼ inches and the cup is 2 ¼ inches high. The set is made of bone china. The porcelain is molded in a kind of repousse with berries and leaves all over the surfaces. The leaves are flow blue under glaze and the berries are gilded over the glaze. The veins in the leaves are hand gilded. The rims and handle are trimmed in gold...

This porcelain tea bowl and saucer was produced in England at the Derby Porcelain Works between 1770 and 1784. It has the gilded letter “D” and anchor mark on each piece. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 3 inches in diameter and 1 3/4 inches high. The porcelain is molded with ribs making the edges scalloped. The decoration is modest. Although the glass is soda, the lead-like ring to it, combined with its extremely high overall quality strongly indicates a Tyneside (N. England) origin.
