This is a wonderful tiger oak secretary with a cylinder roll desk. It is circa 1890, Eastlake, with chipped carvings throughout. Its not ornate - its beautifully elegant. It measures 92" tall x 36" wide x 22" deep and is in absolutely beautiful condition. It comes apart in two pieces for moving. The graining on the wood is the best of its kind.

A Late American Victorian Walnut Revolving Bookcase, with a Square top with Molded Edges. Two tiers with stick and ball spindle supports, small ball feet, cast iron center shaft and base. Dimensions; 21" square x 31.5" high. Some wear, but very good condition overall.

An antique Tibetan storage cabinet that also doubled as a shrine. Decorated in painted lacquer with playful snow lions as the central motif. The skirt is decorated in a key fret design.

A walnut bracket and shelf intricately carved with a panoply of Masonic symbols. The shelf portion itself folds flat against the back bracket, and is supported by a swing-out brace.

Pencilled writing on the back of this item says that it was purchased in 1938 and was believed to be over 100 years old then, which is probably about 25 years on the optimistic side. The shelf has been shellaced or varnished; 19" high, 10 1/2" wide, 6" deep.

This is a pair of antique Chinese official hat chairs. Made of Chinese Elm wood, it was decorated with hand carved Linghi mushroom accents. The finish has traces of transparent Burgandy lacquer.

A centennial pair of Federal style bench made mahogany stands. Truly fine specimens - each with shaped mahogany top over conforming figured mahogany veneered and beaded case. An antique Japanese Negoro Choba Tansu (merchant chest) made of Hinoki (Cypress) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria) woods. Original hand forged iron hardware and Negoro Urushi lacquer finish. Complete with 8 drawers and 2 sets of sliding doors. The upper doors has a spacious storage area where the merchant stored his business records and books. The lower doors has books and records storage to the left and four small storage drawers to the right...

Lovely American tiger oak server with bevelled mirrored back, two drawers over one long drawer over two doors with a small shelf between them. It has Queen Anne legs and the moulding on top of the mirror is curved, ending with small rosettes. Thie piece measures 45" wide x 56" tall x 22 1/2" deep.
