Incredibly beautiful original Vernis Martin French cabinet from the late 1800s. It has wonderful original romantic scenes adorned with brass mounts. There are two side doors with serpentine glass, and the center glass is convex. All glass is original, as is everything else. It measures 74″ tall x 39″ wide x 19″ deep. An antique Japanese Yonezawa Isho Tansu made of Kuri (Chestnut) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) woods. All original Urushi lacquer finish and hand forged iron hardware. Lock plates feature the family crest of the original owner with bronze outer circular frames. The handles are of the Warabite style. Five drawers with a security hinged door that hides 2 additional drawers.

An antique Japanese Kotansu (personal storage chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) woods. All original hand forged iron hardware and aged patina finish. Warabite style handles. Straight dovetail Japanese joinery and hardened wood nails were incorporated into its design. Five drawers with a hinged security door that behind hides two small drawers.

Three side by side drawers and 5 full width drawers below.

An antique Japanese Kotansu for traveling administrators made of Sugi (Cryptomeria) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware including the Hirute style handles. Unusual dual opening drawer allowed two administrators on each side of the tansu to access the same drawers and supplies. Family crest on the door.

An antique Japanese Tansu chest called a Gyosho Bako (peddler's chest) made of Sugi (Cryptomeria) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware. Two pairs of rings on each side used to rope the Tansu to carry on ones back for peddling wares from town to town. The front hinged door secures 7 drawers used for inventory storage.
