For the collector of early and folky American furniture, here is a type of chair commonly referred to as a "firehouse" chair, made of wood, painted generally black but with yellow piping stripes along the top rail and seat, and on the legs. English Papier Mache triple tier Table, 33" high, 17" x 13" wide oval-table top, and 38" x 21" x 20" - overall maximum measurement, Mid 1800's, with brilliant colors of low relief design of Eagle, Mandarin Duck near the pond and other bird in the rocky garden, all in black lacquer background. Supported by gilded bamboo turned 4 legs extended from top to the bottom connected with x-cross stretcher on the bottom. The size is good to use as a end table between chairs with triple table top surface...

A fine example of a mid 19th century salesman's sample or doll's chair. This piece is all original, including its red paint and the woven splint seat.

DESCRIPTION: An early 19th C. three door country New England corner cupboard in original dark blue paint with reddish trim. The interior is washed with a pale green milk paint and has three shelves in the upper portion and storage space in the bottom. Two door panels have age cracks to the wood. From our European Collection, a fine pair of Louis XVI style giltwood fauteuils a la reine (Queen's Armchairs), last quarter 19th century circa 1875-1895, constructed with a banded upholstered back surmounted by a carved and gilded laurel wreath above a guilloche (braided interlaced ribbon) banding, flanked on both sides by turret motif finials continuing to outset arms on reeded baluster supports, all above a newly upholstered in red fabric shaped seat, raised on tapering legs...

A lovely antique mahogany Sheraton style extending dining table, with 1 leaf, which contracts to compact size. The leaves are held by brass fasteners. The turned legs have iron castor feet.

Wear commensurate with age for a fine 19th century heirloom.

A fantastic mid to late 19th C. American walnut slant front desk with glass doors for the book case and solid doors for lower storage. It has interior drawers and cubby spaces. Red felt on the desk. Detail applied foliate moldings, and a brass candlestick holder. It is in over all very good to excellent condition. Expect some wear and tear for this 150 year old beauty.

A fine antique walnut corner cabinet with beautiful warm patina - though I suspect that it has been refinished somewhere along the road. Wood shelves; dentil molding; wood pegs still present; brass hinges, and closing clasps added. Double doors top and bottom. I suspect that the feet have been cut somewhat. It has normal wear and tear of a piece of this age. The cabinet is at least 19th C, but may even be late 18th century...

Incredibly beautiful original  Vernis Martin French cabinet from the late 1800s. It has wonderful original romantic scenes adorned with brass mounts.  There are two side doors with serpentine glass, and the center glass is convex.  All glass is original, as is everything else.  It measures 74″ tall x 39″ wide x 19″ deep.  It is very good condition, commensurate with its age

Absolutely beautiful sofa in a variation of Belter's Rosalie pattern. It was made between 1850 and 1860 and is typical of Henry Belter's wonderful laminated furniture for which he is so famous. It measures 42" tall x 74" long x 34" deep. The coloring and graining of the rosewood is just wonderful, and this would make a fantastic addition to any parlor or living room
