Empire period Gilded on Wood Sconce, Ca. early 1800's, 15" high, 9" deep, 6" diameter-back plate, wire is ready to connect on to your wall, Gilding is old and shows old patina, no restoration was done, most parts are all original gilding except sleeve to hide the electrical part are new.

Plume & Atwood manufactured this delightful glass oil lamp c. 1870 possibly a little later. It consists of a shaped white terraced base supporting a brass stem which in turn supports the amethyst font embossed with flowers and scrolling stems. The burner assembly is brass. The lamp comes with a hurricane chimney with crimped top. The wick, I discovered late, is in the font. The lamp proper is about 11". The condition appears to be excellent though the burner has some minor warping...

FinePair of Italian Grand Tour Bronze Candlesticks with nicely detailed foliate decoration and with good patina and fine castings. Having a removable ormolu drip pan above a bronze candle cup and supported by a turned and foliate decorated column with a tripartite scrolling ormolu base and mounted on a tripartite bronze plinth. Korean Joseon Dynasty 19th Century Polychrome Painted Wooden Oil Lamp Stand with attached original cut out Tin type gallery rim Metal top to hold the 19th Century White Porcelain Oil Pot, 7 1/2" high, 4" wide for Hexagonal shape Base, this is the Korean Shamanistic style Polychrome painted Oil Lamp. Beautiful cranberry hobnail American Victorian Gone with the Wind fixture in beautiful original condition. The shade measures 13 1/2" in diameter x 7 1/2" tall, and the whole fixture measures 32" from top to bottom and 16" wide

A pair of patinated and gilt bronze four light candelabra in the early 19th century style and probably of the period. Most of the later 19th century bases are attached with screws directly to the underside of the feet. These are attached through a piece of wood and bolts are held in place with hand cut square nuts. Good casting and chasing. The height is 24 inches (61 cm).

Condition: overall excellent with much of the patination and gilding intact. One of the candle cups replaced...

A beautiful and striking tall pair of brass push-up pulpit candlesticks with dish bases. Made in England, c1820. These elegant sticks have sets of scribed lines at intervals along the column, and wonderfully crafted joinings.

Excellent condition, with fully working slides. 17 1/2 inches tall, and a base diameter of 6 5/8 inches.

From our European Collection, a very elegant late 19th / early 20th century bronze lamp, probably French or English, featuring a well-cast swan atop a lumbering turtle. This is the second of two fine lamps we recently acquired from the estate of a former New York based antique dealer.
