Lovely Renaissance Revival hall stand, circa 1880. It is walnut and all the decoration is burl. It will hold up to ten hats or coats, and has the original iron pans on the bottom. It measures 91" tall x 43" wide x 16" deep and is in beautiful condition.

Rare and beautiful Chinese temple cabinet, its style and form found in traditional Shanxi art, made from pine wood, with a continuous line of applied moulding along its top and sides, called ruyi lappets. Its inner border is decorated with taohuan panels, with detailed carvings of flowers, human figures, and various animals such as a rabbit, dog, and two scaled beasts...

An American Federal Fire Screen; Mahogany 3-part Folding Screen on a Two Tiered Stand (one oval shelf over a rectangular one)standing on Splayed Legs. Blue Velvet Panels with Needlework of Elk and Hunters. Dimensions; 42.5" high x 18.25" wide x 12" deep; screen 18" x 15" closed; 36.5" x 15" open. Circa 1810-1820, probably of New england origin. Very Good condition.

Beautiful 19th century American Victorian walnut marble top center table attributed to Thomas Brooks. Measuring 37 l/2" wide x 28 1/2" deep and 30" tall in beautiful condition, this highly decorated base with marble top over decorated apron is about as good as any Thomas Brooks table we've seen, and better than most

A walnut bracket and shelf intricately carved with a panoply of Masonic symbols. The shelf portion itself folds flat against the back bracket, and is supported by a swing-out brace.

Pencilled writing on the back of this item says that it was purchased in 1938 and was believed to be over 100 years old then, which is probably about 25 years on the optimistic side. The shelf has been shellaced or varnished; 19" high, 10 1/2" wide, 6" deep.

Japanese Sakata area keyaki kodansu, beautiful condition and original finish. Hardware includes crane and turtle symbols of happiness and longevity on largest lock. Bar hardware has family mon. Meiji Period, circa 1860s. Size: 22"H 11.25"D 22.25"L

This beautiful bed, circa 1860, is exquisitely carved rosewood. It has deep, three-dimentional lilies of the valley, along with other flowers and ornaments. It measures 7 feet tall x 58" wide x 80" long. We have a double matress on it now, but there is room both in the length and wide for a larger matress to be made. This beautiful bed is in terrific original condition.

This rare and wonderful table was made by John Henry Belter circa 1850-1860. It has a white marble top, and four c-scrolled legs - each one different. There is a dolphin, an eagle, a boar and a hound. The table measures 29" tall x 42" long x 32 3/4" deep. A table exactly like this one sold at Neal Auction in 2003 for $50,000. This is a very rare and wonderful piece of Americana.

Fabulous, huge, Rosewood American Victorian Renaissance Revival etagere. Embellished with marquetry musical instruments and flowers, this beautiful piece is in all original condition, has been in the same family since it was bought in the 1870s. It measures 10'2" tall x 7'3" wide x 24" deep.

One of the best back bars ever, this measures almost 12 feet tall and almost 20 feet long! It is made of cherry and walnut burl, American, circa 1880's. There are three leaded glass windows, two as cabinet doors, and one as center top, supported by marble pillars. There are no words to describe this incredible piece, and the pictures really don't do it justice, but you can get an idea. This wonderful bar needs to go into either a fabulous home, or a restaurant or hotel...

Absolutely the most beautiful American Victorian dresser I've ever seen! Made by Mitchell & Rammelsberg circa 1870, this mahogany dresser is 9'3" tall, by 60" wide, by 25" deep. It has three long drawers over another hidden drawer, and all interiors are maple. Pictured in Dubrow's book "Styles of American Furniture," there is one like it in the Newark Museum. The carving of a women's head at the very top is just beautiful. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

A beautiful pair of old Sheffield candlesticks with original removable bobeches. What makes these so rare and superb are the period old Sheffield silver peg lamps with their original burners.

Peg lamps themselves are not uncommon, but they are inevitably in pewter, glass, or brass. The only other Sheffield pair I have seen was is a book on early lighting, described as highly unusual and rare; 12" tall

Gorgeous Rare Japanese single section isho tansu (clothing chest) from Sado Island, made of kiri (paulownia) wood with translucent reddish orange lacquer finish, fantastic iron hardware including large and elaborate lockplates featuring phoenixes, safe door open to two small drawers, Meiji Period (circa late 1800's). Size: 44 1/2" high x 45 1/2" wide x 17 3/4" deep.

Extremely Rare George III Tea Caddy in the shape of an urn-form knife box, in partridge wood with satnwood stringing, octagonal with pagoda shaped lid and acorn-form finial, urn-form body and turned socle with square plinth base having inlaid banding (lock replaced). Circa 1790. Provenance: The Terence J. Fox Collection of Tea Equipage, Formerly the Collection of Iroquois Brands, Ltd.. Height, 10.”

One of the best tables we've ever had the pleasure of selling, this mahogany table is 60" round when closed. There are twelve leaves, each 9" wide, making the table extend to fourteen feet when completely open. There is a center for support when open. The center pedestal is heavily carved with acanthus leaves ending in paw feet. The table is circa 1870. It has been professionally restored and is in perfect condition...

Beautiful Victorian two-weight wall clock of burled walnut trimmed in black. Has second hand, and chimes on hour and half hour. This lovely clock measures 17 1/2" wide x 53" tall and is in perfect working condition.

Gorgeous walnut sofa by John Jelliff with man's heads on each arm and woman's head on top; circa 1860's; newly upholstered in the softest and most beautiful tufted leather. Measures 80" long x 44 1/2" high x 23 1/2" deep. Condition is perfect.

Heavily carved mahogany settee and chair with full winged griffons on arms, paw feet, and carved, reticulated tops. Probably by either Horner or Karpin. "Era of Men's Finery", a small domed trunk-shaped leather box holding four double cased glass bottles. Each bottle with original gold plated corked cap, silver plate screw top and glass perfume stopper. Leather trunk with wonderful aged patina and nice graining, dome lined inside with brown silk, base with white leather, Circa 1910; Size: 4 3/4" wide x 2" deep x 3" tall. Original vintage condition with character, leather closure re-attached, minor marks, minor wear to plate.

Three piece bedroom set consisting of half tester bed, marble top dresser with mirror, and marble top wash stand with mirror. This burled walnut set is signed with NO under the marble, indicating that is was made in New Orleans. The bed has been professionally altered to take a queen size mattress. This is a Austrian rural style chest, a so called carved " Bauerntruhe " from Styria. Softwood ( pine needle wood ) This piece from about 1750 originaly was only to open from upwards. To make this nice piece more useable for everydays use, there recentely was made 2 doors into the front side of the chest. These 2 doors are not visible, when they are closed. From our European Collection, a good and substantial pair of Continental hand-carved black walnut chairs, 19th century, featuring claw feet and floral motifs carved in deep relief. The seat cushions are a mustard / gold colored silk and are either original, or later 19th / early 20th century replacements.

From our European Collection, a good 19th century hand-carved hall chair with an armorial / heraldic shield, probably Spanish in origin. The wood used is a dense and heavy hardwood which appears to be either walnut or mahogany. The chair is armless and rests upon wooden casters.

A Wonderful English Regency Hand Painted Tilt Top Candle Stand or Tea Table, with a Scalloped Edge and with Bouquets of Flowers as a Design. Dimensions; 19" across x 26" high. Circa 1810-1820 and with only slight signs of wear.

Beautiful little three drawer drop leaf work table, early 19th century, made of mahogany as the main wood and the drawers decorated in tiger maple. It is in excellent original condition, with the bottom of all the drawers chamfered. It measures 30" tall x 19 1/2" wide x 24" deep when the sides are down, and 40" wide when both sides are up. It has its original brass pulls.

Very unusual American victorian check of walnut and burl. It has two small drawers on top and four large drawers on the bottom. The design is one of flowers, and is framed with a burl border. Circa 1880, very different.

This rich carved Austrian rural style armoire comes from the Pinzgau valley near Salzburg. He is made in the Renaissance style, but he dates later at about 1740. Softwood ( pine needle wood ) Very nice restored condition. H : 72,5 inc. B : 48,5 inc. Deep : 22,5 inc.

This screen is carved from top to bottom in every possible place. It has faces, flowers, lion feet, berries and more. The red panels in the back can be easily changed, so it can be made to go with any decor. The two outside panels are each 22" wide x 65" tall, and the center panel is 20" wide x 65". Not only is this a beautiful screen, but it would make a wonderful one of a kind headboard also. It is in great original condition.

Lovely early 19th century two drawer drop leaf worktable, tiger maple with cherry drawers. The drawers are all chamfered on the bottom, and the piece measures 29" tall x 20" wide x 20 1/2" deep, and 39 1/2" wide when the leaves are up. It is in wonderful original condition.

Very lovely and unusual tall slant front desk, opening in the front, but having drawers on one side like a davenport desk, and a door on the opposite side. Measures 67" tall x 30" wide x 18" deep; circa 1880; in lovely condition.

Beautiful natural shell and bronze "Nautilus" lamp made by Tiffany Studios circa 1900. It features a polished iridescent nautilus shell sitting atop a patinated bronze base. The base is stamped Tiffany Studios, New York and numbered 634. This lamp has been in the same family for the last 75 years, and is in perfect original condition. It measures approximately 13" tall.

Walnut Victorian Corner Bookcase -- In all our years specializing in American Victorian furniture, we have never come across a bookcase like this; it is made of walnut, circa 1880, made to fit into a corner of a room; one side is wider than the other; it measures 71" x 21" on the long side, and 58" x 21" on the shorter side; it is 8' tall, and the bookshelves are 10" deep

From our European Collection, a very fine Federal Giltwood Pier Mirror, early 19th century circa 1800-1820, featuring a looking glass surmounted by a good maritime scene, bordered on top by a pair of angels exquisitely rendered in gilded gesso suspended beneath an overhanging cornice, and flanked by gilded ribboned columns on the sides.

This particular mirror is an excellent example of its kind, and is especially well-preserved...

A beautiful 19th century Italian Chinoiserie Bombe Chest of drawers. Beautiful form and quality antique construction. All original with original label.

19th century Victorian American baby cradle in natural wicker having a round dome crown suspened in the frame. This beautiful cradle is in excellent original condition and measures 55" tall x 39" long x 21 1/2" wide. The actual bed part measures 37" long x 21 1/2" wide x 15 1/2" deep.

Beautiful early cherry two piece corner cabinet with the top door having 12 panes of original glass (one pane has a very tiny crack at the bottom of it). It is all mortise and tenon construction, and measures 88" tall 43" wide x 27" deep. Other than the one small crack in the glass it is in perfect condition and ready to go into your home.

Lovely American tiger oak server with bevelled mirrored back, two drawers over one long drawer over two doors with a small shelf between them. It has Queen Anne legs and the moulding on top of the mirror is curved, ending with small rosettes. Thie piece measures 45" wide x 56" tall x 22 1/2" deep.

This absolutely beautiful set of American carved mahogany chairs is top of the line. They are Chippendale in style, circa 1900. There are acanthus leaves on the knees and ball and claw feet. The two armchairs measure 39" tall x 25 1/2" wide, and the six side chairs measure 39" tall x 22" wide.

This is a lovely revolving bookcase, circa 1910. It is mahogany, with a shell style inlay on the top. There are two shelves on each of the four sides. The bookcase itself measures 31" high x 19" deep.
