Well, this was recently acquired from the estate of a 100 year old resident. The nickel plated shaver is in very nice condition, complete with a blade and box that is lined in a purple velvet type material. The interior is labeled “ANTICOR – The Saftey Corn Shaver” and the directions are printed on the label noted on the bottom of the box.

The box measures 4 inches long and is in good condition.

Exhibited, is a fine European antique cane with an incredible carved horn handle in form of a dog's head, close attention to every details, bronze pommel and ferrule. Size: The carved handle measures 3.5 inches long and overall length of the cane is 31 inches long. This great carved ivory walking stick features a wonderful cockatoo with beautiful blue glass eyes. This stick has a coin silver British collar, ebony shaft and metal ferrule. This is a graphic pin cushion from the 1860's in brown, blue and tan star pattern. The back is a egg wash blue linen. It has a nice blue velvet saw tooth edge that goes around the middle of the cushion. It is all hand sewn, a real work of art. It is worn but mellow and nice. It is 8" diameter and is 4" high. A nice surviving example of a Civil War era pin cushion.
