A very rare cast iron fireplace tool set with caddy includes tongs, poker, and shovel. The caddy in enameled in black over a white primer, a clue to help dating of the set. The caddy is formed of rectilinear lines with a bird with large plumes in the center. Each of the tools has a ring for either grabbing or hanging. An elegant and intriguing walking stick with a handle carved in the form of a hand gripping a booted leg. This fascinating English folk art cane is crafted entirely from one piece of hardwood and varnished. The delightful walking stick measures about 36" long with the handle measuring 6.75 inches. Dates circa 1880.

Small and pretty desk seal, gilded silver and banded agate, with two minuscule French hallmarks, probably a boar´s head (in use from 1838 on small items). From around 1850-60 = 2nd Empire. The seal stone, not engraved, is yellow in tone, probably a citrine or a topaze. Height "2/ 5.4 cm. Condition: the agate handle with repair (cf. pics).

Offered are two, very nice, circa 1905-1910, smooth face, hickory shaft, golf clubs. Smooth face golf clubs fell out of fashion and perhaps function by the very early 1900s, but they were still offered in catalogues for a number of years beyond this date.

The 1st smooth face club is stamped on the back "Wm. GIBSON - KINGHORN SCOTLAND - CLEEK ...". It is a quite scarce, left handed model with a lambskin grip, straight hickory shaft, sporting a nice, aged patina...

Offered is a very nice C1900, Fairbanks, NY, Drug Store or Apothecary Prescription Scientific Scale complete with weights. Features of the scale include a mahogany case sporting a wonderful patina, and the bone (or early plastic) name plate which is marked "FAIRBANKS NY", an iconic maker of quality scales of the period. A brass labeled NY (New York) CITY asset tag further enhances this vintage scientific collectible.

Beautiful 19th century rosewood box containing bottles and measuring items for a doctor to put together his own remedies for patients. The beautifully grained rosewood box measures 10" tall x 12" wide x 6" deep. It has its original lock (with key) and recessed brass handles on the box, along with a bottom drawer that is locked by a brass pin that has to be removed in order to gain access to it. This awesome tool-of-the-trade includes many unused burs housed in their original, individual boxes! A detailed, complete label is pasted on the interior lid and is in good condition.

The hardwood case measures 11" L x 5.5" W x 3" H and has wear to the finish commensurate with age and use. A visually-appealing display piece that would enhance any dental instrument and artifact collection!

This box is silver plate from the United States or possibly England of the Victorian era. The marking on this sewing box is partially obliterated, but we could make out the mark C&W on the bottom. We were unable to identify the marking. It measures 4 inches high, 3 inches deep and 1 7/8 inches wide. The box has 3 drawers. One is marked pins, one for needles and one for buttons.
