This incredible Rabbit Island Dart arrowhead was found on Sauvie's Island, Oregon by Carroll Howe's sister while hunting with Carroll. I purchased the point from him on 12-13-90. This is an incredible 1 7/8" Columbia Plateau found in Oregon. It is made from beautiful translucent moss agate. It is a true G-10. One of the very best. The hafting area is ground and it has basal thinning. It is made from a beautiful translucent chalcedony that is root beer colored. It was found in Mills County, Texas. I have owned it since 1998. This is a fine example of the San Patrice, Hope Variety, early Archaic or transitional Paleo point dating to around 8000BC. It was found in Jasper County, Texas. It is made from translucent fossilized palmwood. It is fluted on both sides. It is 1/1/2" long and the base is ground. The edges are serrated. Like many of you, I love the colorful gem points the most. You might have noticed that I specialize in this type of point and most of my points are in the gem category. I do not know what material this point is made from. It is that unusual. I can only classify it as a chalcedony. I do not know what type this point is. It was found in Nebraska. It is expertly chipped. In fact, you cannot tell which side is side A. Both sides are equally masterfully chipped. A G-10 all the way. It is 1 5/8" long....

This is a beautiful Pelican Lake point found in Wyoming that I purchased from the Arley Hudson collection in 1987. It is made from a gorgeous waxy translucent orange moss agate with two ribbons of white agate showing on the lower right side. The reverse side is heavily patinated from exposure. It is 2" long. It is extremely well chipped. You won't be disappointed with this one.

This nicely translucent Rose Springs was found in Colorado. It measures 1 5/16" X 11/16". It is made from a beautiful translucent waxy agate. It comes with a Jackson COA. A very nice point.

This beautiful Eden point was found in Oregon. It is made from multi-colored petrified bog wood. It has short flutes on both sides. It has a medium ridge on both faces and a ground base. Parallel flaking. It is 2 3/4" long. There is no damage on this point at all. Very fine flaking and an early point. G-10. Purchased from Richard E. Bachman. Pictured in Prehistoric Antiquities & Archaeological News, May 1997, page 35 #4.

These four points were found in the Arkansas River area of southeast Colorado and are from the old-time collection of Arley Hudson. The longest one is 1 1/8". All are very thin and expertly chipped. They are from the Mississippian Period C1000AD.

This whopping point is 4 7/8" long and 2 1/4" wide. Lar Hothem calls it a very scarce 1st stage St. Charles Dovetail. Tom Davis authenticated it as a Lost Lake, G-9. It is made from semi-translucent high quality burlington chert. It has excellent mineralization and patina. This petrified wood tang knife is from the four-corners area of the southwest. It is 3 1/4" long. It is from the Wallis-Thomas collection. The base of the tang has been snapped off anciently, but does not detract.

This cannel coal gorget is 2 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" long. It is very thin and well made. It is from the Jim D. Humphrey's collection. He collected from 1930-1970. It is from the Holliston Mills site, Hawkins County, Tennessee, Holston River. It dates to C1500BC. A rare piece.

This glacial kame green banded slate gorget is 4" long. It was found near New Castle in Henry County, Indiana. It came out of the Chris Thompson collection. I purchased it from Gary Mumaw. Pictured in Prehistoric Antiquities, August 1995, page 44. This piece dates to late Archaic C2500BC. It is a beauty with fine concentric banding.

This Hell Gap point is made from beautiful agatized petrified wood. Found in northern Colorado. It is 2 1/8" long. The very end of the base has been snapped off in ancient times, but it does not detract.

This Lost Lake is from Todd County, Kentucky and is 3" long by 2" at its widest point. The material is a typical Archaic opaque chert. It has great mineralization and patina. It has a Tom Davis COA rated G-8. I would rate it higher. It is a classic form. Shows much nicer in person.

This is an incredible Cougar Mountain found in Oregon. It is made from beautiful tranlucent orange agate. It is 8 1/2" long. Dates to 10,000 BP. Perfect condition. Great provenance. I purchased it in 1988. It comes with a Gregory Perino COA. I personally sent it to him so I know the COA is not a fake. None finer.

Overstreet states the Agee points are "the finest, most exquisite arrow point made in the United States". They are both 1 7/8". They are both made from translucent novaculite. They were found near the area of the Crenshaw Site. The name of the finder goes to the purchaser. I purchased both on 8-2-92 from Ray Stanford. Agee points of this quality are never seen on the open market. They are extremely rare and hoarded.

This is one of the most fascinating and unique artifacts I have ever seen. The axe is 5 1/2" from top to bottom and the handle is 7". The handle has been broken off in antiquity at the end which is a plus for me because you can see the internal cross section of the wood. The haft is completely fossilized (84% calcium carbonate). This rare Archaic E-Notch point, made from translucent gray glossy flintridge, is in perfect condition. It has heavy grinding on the base and in the bottom portion of the notches.
